First off I’ve never met a donut I did not like. These are ok. I sampled the old fashioned which actually tastes the worst. Like sunflower seeds? Apple fritter was overcooked. The marble bars were weighted with so much frosting it was way too sweet. The box and concept looks like they were trying to recreate Dunkin Donuts– which I wish was actually in Oregon. Everything was lackluster and I will not be back. If you are okay with mediocre than this is the place for you.

The kids love when we pick up donuts for them on the weekend. This is our local place and they have a huge variety to choose from. We love the cinnamon twists and apple fritters. Super yummy. They even have seasonal donuts as well. Not in the mood for donuts. They have coffee and ice cream as well. They even have some other savory choices too. It’s one of our favorites.

A place that I like to take my kid sometimes after school for a treat. They have good donuts and always have friendly service there’s always tons of kids hanging around because it’s actually attached to the library.

OMG! This place is awesome! The donuts are SO good. My personal fave is the French Cruller, very light and very airy and so very good… all of the donuts are good. They know their business and we love thier confections. Easy to park on the street, run in grab a dozen donuts(you will need a dozen) and eat 3 before you even get home or to the office… pretty good coffee too.

We really want to enjoy and support this organization but we are struggling. My wife and I have taken my son here three times and they have three strikes all based on customer service. I can’t put it any other way it sucks. The girl behind the counter seems bothered you are even in the store ordering something. It may be a better experience if someone else was behind the counter. The donuts are good.

We stopped to get espresso drinks on Mother’s Day. The girl working displayed terrible customer service and didn’t know much about coffee. She thought a Dirty Chai had chocolate in it and we aren’t convinced she knows the difference between a mocha and a late. Complete lack of service and personality.

The buttermilk bar is the best. All of the cake donuts are really good. Perfect sweetness and not too dry. I am also a fan of the sesame donut holes. Great location in Sherwood too since it’s right by the library in Old Town.

I went in on Sat. around 11:00, only one other customer was in there. A guy was working behind the counter, he seemed nice enough, not very friendly, but OK. The problem is that he did not pay one bit of attention to my to go order! It was only two things, I asked for a well toasted bagel cut into and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. When I got to the football game, I found the bagel was not toasted at all,(I reminded him twice about toasting the bagel) plus it was not cut into as I had asked. The sandwich had no bacon or cheese, egg only. This has happened a few time before, so this time I am saying something. It can be very frustrating! I understand getting your order missed up if you are real busy, but this dude was totally spaced out! The food and donuts are pretty good there, so I give that four stars, the service I give one star, because this has happened to often in there!

Delicious donuts, great service. The owner goes out of his at to make customers satisfied. Try the strudel!

My fiancé and I both grew up in the Sherwood area, but currently live in Seattle. Whenever we come down to visit family, we HAVE to stop at least once at Sesame donuts! Their donuts are so yummy and I crave them more often than I want to admit. They have great coffee and the staff is friendly and nice. On top of that, I met the owner one time and he was hands down the SWEETEST man around! I love supporting local small businesses and the fact that their staff and owners are kind makes me that much happier to support them. Their chocolate sprinkle donut is so yummy, and my soon to be father in law is obsessed with the donut holes! We all LOVE Sesame!

Our clan loves Sesame Donuts. The donuts are very good. The middle eastern sandwiches and other treats are excellent as well. It is located in the Sherwood library and is a convenient place for a snack when picking out and dropping off books. The staff is always very friendly. I left my iphone there recently and they really went the extra mile. They found a way to contact me and secured it until I could retrieve it. Very cool.

This place(and the other Sesame Donuts locations) remind me of Dunkin Donuts. Maybe it’s the store layout, or the fact that they have a ton of fresh donuts of all varieties, AND they have donut holes in flavors beyond the standard«plain». Jelly filled donut holes? Check. Dark chocolate cake donut holes? Check. Even their specialty, sesame donuts. Check. Not sure where the donuts are made but definitely not on site here. Still, the selection is great, service is with a smile, and the donuts taste delicious. My faves are the dark chocolate old fashioned and the jelly. But if if it’s got«donut» in the name, chances are I’ll like it. This shop also sells ice cream, bagels, sandwiches, and some middle eastern dishes like falafel and shawarma. Truly something for(almost) everyone.

I like this little donut shop. The nice thing about it is, they also do some pretty decent food items besides donuts. It’s the only place in Sherwood that I’ve found good felafel sandwiches and shawarma as well. The owner’s here have added to the traditional menu with some good Lebanese food. Another good thing is that they often put up a little booth outside at the Sherwood Farmer’s Market. Friendly nice folks, good donuts, good food. Can’t beat it.

What the heck? That is what I was thinking as I walked into the Sherwood Library. There is a donut shop IN the library? Not next door or around the corner. No doors to separate the two. The donut shop is IN the library?!? Something about it just seems rather odd and indecent. And how do the librarians ever get any work done? Tortured by the scent of baking donuts. I’ve heard raves about Sesame Donuts on the Talk boards for ages, so it was time to check them out. But I needn’t worry about the librarians. There is no baking at this shop. The Sherwood location is just an outlet store and all the baking magic happens in Beaverton. And that just feels wrong. The folks at the store were over the top friendly, the donuts were quite good and the coffee is decent. But, in order to get a donut rave from me, you actually need to make the donuts on-site. I want to walk in the store and have the sweet scent of sugar waft over me and sink into every pore. But I can see how that would be a problem for the library staff and visitors, so perhaps this way is best. The location is great, right in the heart of historic downtown Sherwood. During the summer, the farmer’s market is right next door. Still, how can a kid get any studying done knowing donuts are just out of reach?

Oh, Sesame Donut, I tried to resist you. I am so glad you live over on the Westside, because I love you too much! Your warm, moist cakey center. Your light sugar glaze. The chewy, crunch heaven of your toasted sesame seed covering. And today you outdid yourself, really it was too much. A medium coffee and two sesame donuts for only 2.99. I can’t take it. I have to walk away now, before I become lost in your amazing and unique flavors. Don’t worry, I’ll be back, my willpower is not that strong. When the farmer’s market opens walking by you will be too much. Until then my sweet Sesame Donut.
