A nice quaint restaurant. Had lunch, varied menu and unique to them they serve High Tea. Very nice selection. Highly recommend for a comfortable lunch

Love their Fish dinners, always juicy with crisp lightly breaded crust. My favorite sandwich there is their Reuben but my husband loves the juicy burgers. The service is excellent and you usually get a friendly smile and greeting from Kathy or Evan the owners.

This place is an area institution. If you want a real local joint, filled with people from nearby(yes, mostly old people) and with solidly good food, then stop by here. Especially if you want ice cream! I usually eat here at lunch. The prices are really reasonable and the food is always decent. Nothing amazing, but then again this is standard rural American fare, so it will be solidly good. There’s always a soup of the day and some specials. I usually get the fish sandwich with side of french fries(yum). The place is cute and quaint on the inside. Tables are small and if it’s busy you may be able to overhear your neighboring table’s conversation. Most times at lunch, there’s a crowd but it’s not packed. The servers are really friendly, and service is fast. One thing to remember is that you have to take your bill up to the counter and pay for it when you’re ready(which I always forget). And, of course, there are the desserts. Besides the full-service ice cream parlor, there are always a dozen kinds of pie. So definitely leave room! The ice cream parlor on its own is great. Really reasonable priced, with usually about 20 flavors, plus shakes, floats, and breezers. I’ve eaten one too many ice creams here, yumm!

The food is good here. I’m not a fan of their reuben, but everything else I’ve had there was very enjoyable. Prices are reasonable and service is homey and friendly. And they’re an ice cream parlor, serving Hershey’s ice cream, to boot. Overall, I’ve have several good experiences there, and very few disappointments.
