This is my 1st experience with B&B and I love it! My wife and I had good time during our short stay. We second every word in Robyn’s review made more than 2 years ago. It has not change a bit except our breakfast was blueberry waffle with bacon.
The owner not only helped us to plan our visit but also recommended and made dinner reservation for us at a local restaurant — Maldaner’s. We enjoyed the meal and were impressed by chef’s creativity.
The owner accepts credit card but prefer personal check or cash. I would have brought my check book if I knew beforehand.

This B & B is a hidden gem in the Springfield area. The historic farmhouse is lovely and in wonderful condition. Our room was impeccable – clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the farmland across the street. It was a bit chilly in the morning, and we used the extra blanket that was provided.
Breakfast was lovely. Homemade cornmeal blueberry pancakes served with bacon, fresh fruit with yogurt and homemade granola, juice, and hot coffee and tea. Everything was delicious, and the owners could not be more accommodating (they put coffee out early at our request).
With free tickets to the nearby Lincoln museum, this place is an amazing value!
