Zia Threading

I’ve been coming to Zia Threading for years now. I love the ambiance and the prices are reasonable. However, Miriam is the reason for the 5 stars. She is seriously the best and so incredibly sweet! I won’t go if she isn’t there and I definitely don’t trust going to any other place. I’ve had bad experiences at other places (a couple of times at Zia too with inexperienced employees).
It tends to get busy, so I’d recommend calling ahead of time and making an appointment.

I came here to get my first henna. I loved the work they did, it was a bit over priced.

Never had a bad experience here! You can’t beat $ 10. I usually just go to whoever is open and don’t have a particular person I like the most. That’s a good sign!

This place sucked! The lady who did my brows did a very bad job. The lines weren’t clean. I had to go home and fix them and she cut my left lid. I told her how i wanted my brows to look and she couldn’t really explain herself due to the fact that her English was very limited.
I should’ve gone to the Brow Bar like my friend had originally suggested. NEVER AGAIN! That whole place was unprofessional, with the whole staff being loud about personal gossip. I think that explains why the shop is in the «cut» of the mall.

i love ZIA! amazing staff, i get my eyebrows done by GiGi every two weeks, she makes me feel like a new woman :) i love her shes the best!!! I totally recommend Zia, great prices, location & salon!

So I’ve been coming here the past 6 months and was really enjoying it. Let me say this, pay attention to who does your brows. I NEVER had a problem until the last time I went a few weeks ago. I didn’t get her name unfortunately but the lady was threading soooo slowly that I could feel the hair being tugged at and it was SOOO painful. It was as if she had never threaded before and I was her guenia pig to start learning. I don’t know if I ever want to come back here. If this review was only for her it would have been only 1 star but the other gals there are great! Sorry I don’t have her name.

Great but Naheed was the best! She really knew how to thread even the smallest hairs! Everyone is always suggesting laser, If that were an option for me, I wouldn’t be here getting threaded.

My eyebrows look 10x better than how I had them. $ 9.99 for eyebrows is a great price too.

I don’t understand why this place has such bad reviews. All the girls here are great and extremely nice! I’ve been coming here for a little over 2 years now and I have to say I’ve not once had a bad experience w any of the girls here. The host Dairy is so sweet! she makes every visit pleasant and easy. She even recognizes my voice every time I call to make an appt. Also, Gigi is my go to girl. She has a very warm personality and I know I can trust her. Not to mention, the other girls here are just as good. I love a place with authenticity and you can definitely perceive that the second you walk in. Lastly, I’m upset to hear that Naheed is no longer there, she was my day one gal.

Milan is the best ! I follow her between the few locations she works at for Zia. Love her.

Only place I will go to get my eyebrows done! Call ahead for an appt and then walk around the mall if you have to kill some time. Iqra is THE BEST and really listens to what you need! This is one of my favorite places :)

I really like my threader Gigi! She works with my eyebrows really well and really knows how to shape my eyebrows now! Unfortunately, I don’t like the hostess at the front door! She always gives off a bitchy vibe to me instead of welcoming me like other hostess do. She doesn’t even say hi to me when I walk through the door!
Other than that, the wait is never too long and the prices are good! Go to Gigi if you visit, she rocks!

Alpa left a long time ago, but Gigi took over my and my husband’s brows. I’m happy to have seen this business grow over the years, they’ve gotten more help and the wait time hasn’t been as long. Still. You probably should make an appointment! Thank you Gigi, we love you!

My sister got a henna tattoo there and it looks great! The wait was about 10 – 15 minutes. It’s a little pricey in my own view, but my sister said it was worth it.

Best place to get your eyebrows threaded & so cheap. Been coming here for years & they always make my eyebrows look amazing. My to-​go person is Mulan, she’s superb on making your eyebrows look great. Definitely recommend Milan if you ever come here-​call before coming so you know who’s working. Everyone here is super nice & they all do a great job overall. The only downside is that this place gets BUSY! Especially on weekends, I recommend either calling before OR coming right when they open, OR come during the week.

I used to love this place. Naheed (who no longer works here apparently) always did an amazing job. According to the girls who work at Zia, she had to leave because of a «vacation.»
Even though she wasn’t there for a while I continued going and had Monica and Gigi do my brows. They did well but it wasn’t the same.
Later in the year, in the summer (2014) I called in to book an appointment with Naheed since the girls had told me she would come back, and I continued to look for Naheed. The girl on the phone told me that Naheed had to get surgery and wouldn’t be back for a while. So I decided to go in and one of the girls removed the top part of my left eyebrow. I was pretty furious, but I dealt with it, having to grow out my brows for the next few months.
After my experience I decided to look up Zia Threading Sherman Oaks, and thanks to a Unilocaler I found out Naheed no longer works here. She’s working somewhere else now.
So, not only was I angry at them for ruining my eyebrows, but also because they lied. They could have just told me that she left for good.

Been going to both locations Sherman oaks and woodland hills for years now the service is excellent.
Ask Milan for eyebrow threading she is wonderful takes her time and will shape the way you want it to be.
The owner is also a very kind and talkative lady. Love the atmosphere there.

I had a great experience here. They do eye brows for $ 9.99 and henna designs as well. They were a little understaffed when I went, but I really didn’t wait long.

They wanted me to pay full price for these mismatched eyebrows they gave me and then come back during whatever hours the owner would be there and talk to her about the horrible service I received. I think not. I offered to 50% of the full price since no one should have to pay for jacked up eyebrows and then come back on another day and talk to the store manager. What poor quality service & management. I do not recommend this place at all.

Came here as a walk-​in for eyebrow threading without a problem. Since it wasn’t busy, I was taken care of right away. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the girl who did my eyebrows but it was in the first chair when you walk in. This was only my first time getting my brows threaded (usually wax) and it was not that painful. She threaded and then trimmed my brows, which I liked cause my hairs grow pretty long. I would definitely return to this spot.
