Came here tor lunch and ordered chicken Chinese salad. Very dry old chicken not fresh vegs and terrible dressing. I paid close to $ 14.00 for this terrible salad. Will not come in here again… Ewwww

I went in for breakfast and ordered the Mia’s Breakfast. The two egg yolks smelled and tasted as though they were rotten. The two pancakes were each one inch thick. They were very doughy and lacked any real pancake taste. The only good thing was the two pieces of bacon. I’ve had better pancakes at McDonalds. Never going back again.

I’ve been coming here for years. What a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere to have brunch in on weekends. Sit inside or out, you’ll unwind with great food in a lovely setting. Everyone who works here is really friendly and tries their best to make sure you have a pleasant experience. There’s occasionally a wait but its worth it!

I like this place, especially when you go there on the weekends. I love their sandwich with homemade chips and the black coffee! Thank you!

A cozy conner café nestled in Sherman Oaks. 1st time here, and brunch was delicious. The ratio of food quality to price is balanced, and the staff was friendly.

Ate here twice. The first time, meh. I decided to try it again for a 2nd time just to give this place another go. To my disappointment, second time around was even more bland. [Food wise] $ 18 for a Cobb salad with avocado. The chicken was dry and bland. The only thing I enjoyed was the freshness of the greens, avocado, and blue cheese. But really, $ 18 to «enjoy» salad ingredients that are supposed to be fresh. Lol ok. The portion of their salad was huge though. so that’s a plus. However, cashier and the staff/bussers were awesome and really nice. The stars go to them.

LOVE Sweet Butter! Cannot believe how great their food is! The Leslie’s Fried Chicken Sandwich(which I now get in a wrap) is simply superb! Makes my mouth sing! Only once was my wrap not good. Shared that with them and they made it right immediately! That says a lot about their customer service! I drive over the hill for this place! :-)

Nice little breakfast spot, enjoyed the ambiance and feel. Tried a dish that was not incredibly memorable, I was trying to stay low with carbohydrates so I got a poached egg with some arugula.(It’s such a bland item, I couldn’t remember it, or find it on the menu) So thank goodness I ordered bacon too, that made everything better! I can’t really knock them for my carb-less selection, I really don’t know how you can make a poached egg *yummy* unless you throw it on top of a steak. What was a bit odd, I ordered a single espresso, and the girl taking our order asked if I wanted cream in it. I politely said no, thinking to myself. «Wouldn’t that be a latte?» We received our drinks 15 minutes after we sat down, and I was shocked that I got a cappuccino! You KNOW I wasn’t about ready to send that back since I didn’t want to wait another 15 minutes. I’ll come back and indulge in a carb-fueled meal on my next visit, and I’ll make sure to drink something caffeinated before I arrive.

I’ve eaten here a few times and have found their food to be mediocre. They’re really not that friendly and I feel like it’s because everyone seems really uptight. Recently I ordered the avocado toast through postmates and a croissant. It ended up being a package soaked with oil. One thin piece of bread also soaked in oil with guacamole on top, oh and the oil. There were a few pieces of arugula, guess what they were soaked in. It really wasn’t a good experience and that’s probably my last straw with the place.

Absolutely love this place but recently my wife had her wallet stolen out of her purse while it was hanging on the back of her chair in the interior/covered patio area. $ 18k charged on our credit cards within the hour. Of course the credit card companies take care of everything but a total hassle having to get a new driver’s license, insurance cards, credit cards, and bank account #. 5 stars for food and ambiance but 1 star for never getting a call back from the owner or manager after calling in to report. I imagine they are busy with a million other things but seemed significant enough to at least warrant a phone call back. I’ll be back to enjoy the food but will be more mindful of keeping our valuables on our laps.

Almost every time I’m craving something sweet for breakfast I wind up coming here. The pastries are fresh and delicious. Their magic bars are truly magic and their brownies are moist and decadent. I have yet to meet a pastry here that I didn’t like. Their savory food is pretty decent and their coffee is alright. Their prices are a little high for what you get, but how else are they supposed to pay the rent in Sherman Oaks, south of Ventura Blvd. This place gets pretty busy on weekends so I either recommend coming early or ordering take out.

I’ve been to Sweet Butter a few times now, and I absolutely love it! It’s a very cute little place that offers great service and is great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can find everything from food, snacks, toys, and cookbooks inside the café/shop. The location is absolutely beautiful, in the heart of Sherman Oaks. It has a very cool and relaxed atmosphere. It’s perfect for a lunch date. If you’re passing by, I would definitely recommend dropping in.

I don’t trust anyone who would give this adorable kitchen and gift shop less than 5 stars. Order the yogurt parfait and the latte and have your taste buds sing. Full fat thick Greek yogurt, homemade granola, mint, berries, honey… Honestly the best yogurt bowl I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying. And that is saying a lot, considering I order one nearly every morning. But, excuse my language, fuck the food– the atmosphere is like stepping off of Ventura Blvd and into your hometown bakery in Lexington, Kentucky. Dare I say the cheers of breakfast spots? I dare.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Sherman Oaks! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. My current crush is the curried chicken salad sandwich — so yummy. Last time we were there they had vegan tortilla soup and it ah-mazing! The broccoli side salad is delicious as well. The husband has tried some bfast options and all have been yummy. This place is doing it right.

Super cute place! Loved this café! Has a very rustic feel! The people here were very nice and the food was good. Can be a bit pricey cause I ordered 2 things and it came out to $ 24. I ordered a latte with a chicken bbq wrap that came with french fry’s. It was actually tasty. They messed up on my order and Jorge didn’t even hesitate to make it better. So that’s always a plus. Thanks for GOOD customer service. Keep it up!

I’ve been here on many occasions. I love the ambiance and the seating options: sidewalk ‘al fresco’ or covered outdoor seating between the kitchen and café section. They have great options for breakfast, brunch or lunch and will close by sundown. Their food ranges the gamut on organic, vegan and gluten-free. If you’re looking for a great spot to try out in the valley, they’re definitely at the top of the list.

It’s a great spot on ventura that serves up breakfast all day. It’s got a rustic feel with baked items in the deli case and a cute coffee bar and a beautiful patio that offers self seating. It’s a restaurant where you order at the counter and seat yourself. The girl at the counter was helpful however it seemed as though she just wanted to rush and get me out. The line for ordering does get pretty long pretty fast. Food — it was okay but there wasn’t anything that I would crave enough to come back. It is a place where I would grab a coffee to sit and enjoy the patio or people watch. The food is just meh. They did however have a few dairy free and gluten free pastry items that seemed very popular.

What a great place. I love the ambiance. My friend had an issue with his dish(wrong dish was brought out) and within seconds, the manager came over and apologized and made things right! I love coming to places that don’t care to know the issue, just want to know how they can make it better. It took quite a while for the right meal to come out, but I shared mine and we had a great time! I would definitely recommend coming here!
