Starbucks

Very nice Starbucks location. As always, the baristas are great, the service is good, it’s always clean and of course, the drinks are good.

I don’t have any major problems with this Starbucks location besides the fact that it’s usually pretty busy and doesn’t seem to have the staff to support the demand. There’s always a line and you shouldn’t expect the tables to be wiped down or cleaned. Besides that, you should expect what you can get from any other Starbucks location– coffee made to order.

Semi-​clean, quick turn around with the heavy traffic. (That’s a good thing) quick, correct order is all a plus in my book. Very limited indoor seating and with the light spray today is way I drooped it down to 4 stars. Parking is somewhat else on the East side of the bldg, if you was lucky like me 3 cars from Starbuck went in and out so I was able to parking with 30 mins left on the meter. Once again fast service got me back to the meter with 13 minutes to spare. You figure parking walking to and from the location, 7 mins to get coffee on Ventura Blvd is unheard of, but here it is.

I’m here about 4 – 5 times a week with regular visits of coming in once or twice a day.
I guess you can say I have an addiction!

More and more I get mad every time I come here. The coffee has always been expensive, but the pastries were always good. However. At some point in time they have become really anemic and over priced as well!

All the time all the table are taken.
My friend didn’t feel so well and the tea they recommend was not tasty at all.
I order their new coffee latte macchiato and its was so bitter but they change it for me.
Overall it ok and I’ll come back.

This is the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been in! We sat there for an hour at the counter… Could not get a table as a guy with no drink in front him slept the entire time we were there on one of the tables. The employees just looked at him and did nothing. Sitting at the counter you can watch the help take out the trash and then not wash their hands… Not cool. The place needs a good scrubbing!

My experience took place last Sunday afternoon (January 3^rd to be precise). A heavy brunette woman was working the register, at approximately 4:00pm. I was in a hurry as I was risking running late to work, but the line wasn’t very long, so I should have been absolutely fine. I was second in line when my experience turned in to a terrible one. Apparently the heavy cashier (I wish I had gotten her name, but this is the only way I can describe her that differentiates her from the rest of the staff) knew the girl in front of me in line. She decides to chat her up for much longer than necessary. Even as the line grew, with several of us in a hurry, they continued to gossip. About 5 minutes later, the cashier takes her friend’s order. She then tells me to «hold on» in a disrespectful manner, and proceeds to make her friend’s drink, neglecting to take any of our orders until her friend’s drink was finished. She quite literally abandoned the front and every guest in line to make her friend’s drink, EVEN THOUGH there was already a gentleman making drinks for everyone at a very reasonable pace. It was very obvious that she was giving her friend special treatment, at no point after this did she leave the register. Not only was I late to work when I otherwise would not have been (had the cashier remained professional and refrained from chatting up her friend) but I was honestly made to feel like a second class citizen due to the rude manner she spoke to me in. I would have asked to speak to a manager if I hadn’t been so late for my shift. I can assure you I will never again purchase my coffee from this unprofessional establishment.

One of my favourite things about visiting my son in LA. This is our coffee spot after my morning run on Ventura Boulevard. Friendly staff and customers. Great place to chill and hang out.

This is a tiny locale with only a handful of tables, inside and out. There is a lot of foot traffic, as it is located on busy Ventura Blvd.
The staff is friendly and efficient. The best thing about this location is the cozy outdoor patio — it’s a great place to sit for a while and people watch on a warm, sunny day.

The staff was very good about greeting me and taking my order. When they asked for name, per usual, I answered «Awesome!» And which the barista grinned and wrote it on my cup. When my drink was made, the other barista was not embarrassed to yell my name and let me know my drink was ready. He also gave me a high five because he liked my pseudo name.
The herbal hibiscus was quite refreshing. The seating inside is pretty limited. If you’re going there to study, I don’t recommend it. It’s busy and with limited seating, it’s not the best situation for productivity. Maybe leisurely reading a book is fine. But I do recommend this place for hanging with friends. It just seems more of a casual place than to stay long at.
Bathroom is pretty clean. Street/​metered parking only which sucks. But again, this isn’t the place you want to hang for long hours of studying or such.

The slowest moving Starbucks in town. The employees here used to suck major donk, but it seems like they’ve gotten a few spankings and cleaned up their act.
Half and half is always empty.
Who else here on Unilocal used to work at Starbucks? The golden rule is keep it friendly, keep it quick, and keep it full.
Every. Time.
So I don’t know what’s worse. The pace of the establishment or the stupid people in line who breathe down your neck as if it’s going to expedite the process.
Dear tall gentleman behind me, watching me type. This one is for you and the baby mama who felt it was appropriate to put her stroller in everyone’s way.

I came in here on a Friday evening. The two girls behind the counter (one Asian and one White) were absolutely clueless. I stood in line for more than five minutes while there were only two people in front of me. I then asked for water… twice. It still wasn’t given to me. These girls weren’t mean by any chance, but, perhaps, they should find another job. McDonalds is looking.

This review is specialized for my line of work. I’m a traveling technician and looking for places to work and free parking.
Not too much room for to do my paperwork. Fills up quick. Parking is free with validation.
People know each other here and that’s cool.

Not the kind of Starbucks I expected. Service was good, but way too small in placed to sit and meet.

Always a great experience here.
I love all the staff. I’ve been coming here forever and have never really had a bad experience.
Love the managers and all their team.

Getting my coffee fix for the day. Love that this Starbucks is close to a lot of great shops on Ventura blvd

Great location. Parking on the street or in the back (private lot). It’s walking distance from my work so I’m here all the time. Gets busy, loud Starbucks, they have outdoor seating and love the vibe. Overall experience is great. Sometimes they mess up my order Or coffee isn’t hot enough, so that’s a –1 point.

I am not sure why people like this starbucks so much. If you need to study this isn’t the place for you since it is very small. It only has 2 or 3 tables inside, some counter space and several tables outside. The service was great but with parking being an issue as well I prefer Starbucks location that are large + have parking.

I have never waited for as long as a Starbucks drink than here. Ever! To see other customers come and go when you ordered before them is a nuisance. I wouldn’t come back here for the service alone. The location is ideal though, it’s next to a lot of shops.
