This firm is an absolute joke, if you’d like poor service, an out of touch accountant who bills you for all the time they’ve spent cleaning up their own mistakes and negligence, go here. I Do not recommend.

Sher, Sherr, Gelb & Co. has been doing my taxes since I started paying taxes… and every April I thank my lucky stars they’re on my side!
Jonathan Sher is my CPA, and he is nothing short of outstanding. As an independent contractor, my taxes are probably more difficult than most. Jon approaches each tax season with grace, diligence, and patience. Most importantly, he is the most communicative accountant EVER. I pay my estimated taxes quarterly, and each time a payment approaches that I would definitely forget about with a «normal» CPA, Jon sends me an email or gives me a phone call to remind me that I have a payment approaching. It’s so refreshing to deal with a true professional. I would wholeheartedly recommend this accountancy firm and Jon Sher in particular to anyone who is either overwhelmed at the prospect of doing their own taxes, searching for a CPA, unhappy with their current CPA, or who understands the monetary value in having a knowledgeable, communicative, hard-​working, diligent CPA handle your tax affairs.
The entire office staff is amazing. Kim and Marlene are pleasant and friendly when I call with a question, and nobody is ever too busy to address my concerns. Parking is a breeze, too. There is a parking lot on Nobel just south of Ventura, and Sher, Sherr, and Gelb will validate your ticket from that parking lot.
Until they put me six feet underground, I will continue to use Sher, Sherr, Gelb & Co. as my Certified Public Accountants.
