Dr. Lim is my 7year old son’s orthodontist and we both could not be happier. My son feels at home and relaxed during his visits. The staff is wonderfully competent and skilled. Dr. Lim takes his time with his patients and has exceeded our expectations both medically and with his bedside manor.

There is a reason for your seeing consistent 5 stars — Dr. Lim and staff are that good. The entire experience of my son having braces was fantastic for the entire family. From the start of my sons treatment to today (he still has a retainer) the entire office takes care of us. Dr. Lim and staff are fantastic. They are also very involved in the local community — that says a great deal about his character too.

I lived in Sherman oaks but I needed to stay in San Gabriel for a month. Since they have an office in Alhambra, they allow me to come in their Alhambra location for that month.

Dr. Roger Lim and his staff are simply the BEST! At 26-​years-​old I still come in for check-​ups on my retainers. They are very welcoming — each time I am greeted with the most friendly smiles and hellos. I will never go anywhere else. I even joke that I wish I had braces all over again so I can see Dr. Lim and his staff more often. They are prompt with their appointment times, very attentive to my needs and always helpful. I highly recommend going to Dr. Lim. He is very knowledgable. It is very obvious they care about their patients. Thanks Dr. Lim and Staff!

Our 13-​year-​old daughter just finished 18 months of braces. The office is always very friendly and welcoming. There are TVs on the ceiling for the kids to watch during their work. There are video games in the lobby for siblings. And best of all, our daughter’s teeth are now straight. Final word from our daughter, «I like it because the ladies there are always really nice.»

Dr. Lim and his staff are all wonderful. I was an Invisalign patient of his over the course of 13 months… and I just got my buttons removed today! Dr. Lim and the girls were always smiling and happy to see me. They were very attentive to my needs and were always helpful. If a button (kind of like a bracket) would pop off due to popcorn eating or whatever else… they would promptly fit me into their schedule and fix it. After removing my buttons today Dr. Lim even gave me a ‘hollywood finish’ by buffing down a few of my teeth that were straight, but just naturally a little longer than the others, making them super symmetrical and perfect. I appreciate that he took the time to do that, especially because he didn’t have to. I will miss coming in every 6 weeks to see everyone! Of the multiple appointments I have had, I think only ONCE did I have to wait in the waiting room. They are usually very prompt. Happy and confident with my new smile~~I can’t help but show off my gorgeous ‘hollywood’ teeth at every turn. :) Thanks Dr. Lim!

This office and the staff is nothing but amazing. My daughter was crying when we went in last week. A few days later she received a letter at home from Maria a nice note saying how she hoped she was feeling better just really nice words of encouragement. It’s little things like this that make coming to Dr. Lims office a joy.

My daughter is a patient of Dr. Lim and we have been very happy with the service and the results so far! The staff is extremely friendly and responsive, and Dr. Lim’s calm and confident demeanor is really helpful esp. since our daughter is quite young and has a lot of work to be done. Highly recommend!

My husband and I consulted a number of orthodontists before going with Dr. Lim. We are both undergoing Invisalign treatment. I am nearly done and am very pleased with the results.
For both of us, appointments have been easy to schedule and are very quick. The staff gets you in, out, and on your way. Not in a rushy sort of way just in an efficient sort of way. Dr. Lim and the staff are very friendly. Everything was explained to us up front very thoroughly and they took time to answer all my questions. The payment terms were very clear and the pricing is very good. I have no hesitations recommending Dr. Lim

I am glad I made a decision to go with Dr. Lim. My daughter was seeing his wife, Dr. To, who is also great, and she referred us to see him for orthodontic purposes. It has only been 3 months and my daughter’s very uneven teeth are starting to look straight. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating, which is always a plus, and Dr. Lim is a truly knowledgeable and well mannered.
The best part is that my 10 year old loves going to their office.

I consulted another Unilocal-​favorite orthodontist in Santa Monica before deciding to go with Dr. Lim. I made the perfect choice. He’s local. He knows what he’s doing. His staff are so friendly. There’s usually no wait at his office (at least as far as I am concerned.)
Dr. Lim is the most gentle person/​orthodontist. He’s so very patient and nice. It’s easy to trust him and feel that you are in good hands. You’ll never feel that you are being rushed out the door at his office. And you won’t get that feeling «oh I am just another patient, who really cares?»
And BEST part is that my teeth already looked noticeably straighter after only about 6 weeks. Family and friends saw pictures and couldn’t help but notice and comment on the improvement. I was thrilled. After about 10 months, I look at before braces photos and can’t believe that was me. lol

I told my dentist (Dr. Cajulis) that I have always wanted to fix my bite but that so far no orthodontist I had seen was confident about being able to help me. My dentist recommended Dr. Lim to me and after reading the great reviews about him on Unilocal,I decided to give it a try. Dr. Lim’s office is really quite amazing. There is a setup of PSPs in the waiting area (I don’t play games myself but I can imagine many would enjoy it while waiting — although so far I haven’t had to wait at all). Furthermore, he has television screens on the ceiling above every patient chair (even the patient chair inside his office) where you can browse through everything from Netlix and Hulu to Pandora. The office is really made for you to feel comfortable. The receptionist Maria is sweet as can be and is always very helpful. Dr. Lim is genuinely caring, kind, knowledgeable, and patient (I had a lot of questions), and he really took his time with me when he explained about my options. In fact, I felt so confident with him that I decided to do the Invisalign treatment with him right then and there. We took care of everything in that same appointment, and I have just gone back to get my first three sets of aligners. Everything has been consistently awesome, and Dr. Lim went out of his way to email me a couple of little videos that show the expected progress of my teeth. He also gave me free teeth whitening on top of it all. It is rare to find such an amazing doctor (who has such an amazing staff and such an amazing office)! When I went to get my Xrays done, we went to his wife’s dental clinic (for kids) next door, which was just as warm as Dr. Lim’s office and was built as a big children’s playroom. It was really great and I thought to myself that this would definitely be the office I would take my kids to.

Dr. Lim is wonderful. From his bedside manner to the care he provides, we couldn’t be happier. He takes the time to get to know his patients, and their parents. He is conversational, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. He breaks down the treatment and goals in a way that is easy to understand. Dr. Lim’s rates are very reasonable and he worked with us to come up with an affordable payment plan. He gave us a rate for the whole treatment, so we didn’t have to worry about added expenditures along the way.
His office is beautifully done, decorated to please both children and adults. When you walk in, he has video games for kids to use while waiting, but his staff is so prompt and friendly, the wait time is usually short. Head into the examination room where there are televisions over every chair for kids to either watch movies or play video games such as Angry Bird. For any annoying or painful procedures (like impressions or tightening wires), the kids don’t even complain, they are distracted with the TV. There is a computer at each chair where Dr. Lim can show you what the plan is, or the progress you have made. There is a separate, private examination room for adult patients. Dr. Lim is available for emergencies and very accommodating with his schedule. He has a fun website where the kids can play with what colors for their bands to be.
I had braces in Junior High. When I was told my elementary school children should be assessed, I was skeptical. But after seeing the results of the treatment, I am so glad we did not wait. In one year, my daughter had her braces on and now off, with an amazing smile. My son is still wearing braces, and month by month, you can see the transformation. I feel that our investment in Dr. Lim’s treatment has made a world of difference in our children’s lives. They have increased confidence and feel good about themselves.

Dr. Lim is probably the nicest medical professional I have ever had the pleasure of being involved with. He was honest and upfront about the type of treatment I would need. I was hoping for invisilign but I actually needed braces and a couple oral surgeries. I was told when I was younger that I needed surgery but I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case now. Once I got my head wrapped around that I was good to go. He is gentle and friendly. He never calls me or any other patient by anything other than my name. The only bad thing I could say about his office is its a little disorganized. I switched from the Alhambra office to the Sherman Oaks one and it took 3 visits before all of my payment and medical info was transported over. Not a big issue. They are super nice, though.

Dr. Lim did a miracle job fixing my teenage daughter’s teeth & my“Cougar Mom’s” deteriorating dental alignment! She had severe overcrowding above the gum line (which was affecting how her facial features were developing,) and my teeth were slightly collapsing and compromising the integrity of my dental implants. We consulted with 3 local orthodontists and are fortunate to have selected Dr. Lim! The USC credentials, knowledgable staff and well run office are emblematic of the high level of professional treatment provided! He is transforming the (818) into a better place one mouth at a time!

My son has been a patient of Dr Lim’s for over a year now. I couldn’t say enough positive things about both Dr. Lim as a doctor and his office staff in their efficiency and competence. My older daughter had a different orthodontist, so I have something very recent to compare. When I asked around for new recommendations, Dr Lim’s name came up multiple times. Dr. Lim is always available to talk to me, the sometimes nervous mother, with patience and kindness. He will explain the process and procedures needed very clearly, making sure both my son and I understand every necessary step along the way. Whenever we have had a broken brace or crisis of any kind, the office staff is quick to squeeze us in if necessary. My son is always brought in to be worked on within minutes of his arrival and the staff start immediately. Dr Lim has a wonderful bedside manner, and he never forgets to pop his head out to say hello to me if I am waiting in the waiting room. I love the personal attention we receive from Dr Lim and his staff. Orthodontics is a huge decision for a family. The very fair competitive pricing at this office should make a visit a must.
