Prime Italian

I love this place!!! It’s the best! They are quick with delivery (I think they over quote on time) because they always come sooner then they say! The pizza is ALWAYS still hot, crust is crispy, and it just feels & taste fresh out of the oven. The price is pretty good too! My son loves stopping by after school and picking up a small (which is a personal size pizza.) great place :)

Been ordering takeout and delivery here for about 2 years now and they never disappoint. Great food and great prices.

Best chicken parm sub ever! Very nice people! Decided to try it out because it was across the street from where I take my baby to music class. Such a gem. Can’t wait to go back.

STOLE MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!
I got a new debit card last week, so I am 100% positive that this is the restaurant that stole it as it was the first and only place I used my card and passcode. All fraud transactions were also made in the SHERMAN OAKS AREA at ATMs which would have required a passcode. I have reported them. As someone who works in a restaurant, I never write negative Unilocal reviews, but wanted to warn other customers so this does not happen to them. They should be shut down for this. DO NOT GO.

One of my favorite low-​key pizza spots! Mom and pop style. Not too greasy, just the right amount of toppings and Always delicious! Prime Italian Rules!!!

Quick Service at a reasonable price. How can you go wrong!
I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken on top! The Salad was very filling and tasted great.
I waited less than 10 minutes so it was perfect for lunch time. I purchased mine to go, but there are plenty of tables if you wish to dine-​in.
I love the local sub shop feel of the place. Thumbs up!

I have been going to Prime Italian for over 5 years and the food is fantastic! Best pizza in the Valley. All the pasta dishes are terrific and the salads are fresh, they use only the best ingredients. What’s more the restaurant is clean, I have been so many times and it is always spotless and the service is great. If you like pizza, pasta or sandwiches (the Italian sausage is the best!), this is a must stop!

Been going to this place for about 6 years and always ordered a meatball sub and the quality has never changed. Fantastic bread and cheese and overall amazing quality. Worth a try for anybody willing to.

Pepperoni pizza was Average.
Water & Soda for drinks.
Staff was friendly.
TV on inside while eating your pizza quickly.
More of a pick/​delivery pizza joint.

I came here a lot for Italian to go orders because it was close and I had no problems with the food. I did however have a recent experience with the owner that lead me to feel unsafe ever giving him my credit card again.
After paying and receiving my food I went home had my meal and later that evening checked my bank account. It appeared the manager or owner (whoever the man is that is always there running things) had charged me twice. No biggie. I called to let him know and be reimbursed.
The man proceeded to yell at me on the phone saying he did no such thing and the «bank will take care of it». I told him that it is very clear he charged me twice and since it was that evening there should be no problem to give me a refund. The man had a heavy accent as he got increasingly aggressive with me verbally, to which I finally just told him to forget it — I have been a regular costumer for almost a year but I will never go back and hung up.
The bank sympathized with me, but they also thought his reaction was very strange. How did he know «the bank will take care of it» — does this «happen» to him often? I did receive my money back, but it took a week for the bank to open a claim and investigate when the owner could have just corrected his mistake in the first place. Fishy stuff.

The BBQ Chicken pizza used to be fabulous; last couple of times we had it, it was sub par. The antipasti salad and combo pizza were really good though! I didn’t try the garlic bread nor the garlic cheese bread but I heard they were both good.
The parm cheese is very potent and cheesy though so it’s awesome if you’re a cheese lover :)

UPDATE: Since July 2014, we have ordered pizza from Prime Italian every single week! They have the most delicious (and consistently delicious) pizza we have ever enjoyed. Their sausage is fantastic as well as the pepperoni and cheese. There is something about all the ingredients that never leave us feeling bloated and dehydrated. The best!

Ordered pasta to-​go, not pizza. Unless you have a solid go-​to Italian restaurant for takeout, I think Prime Italian could easily take that roll… nothing special, just all around ok.
The Ravioli was good-​ish and the best pasta we ordered. The cheese filling and sauce provided a nice combo. The Angel Hair Pomodoro was decent, especially with parmesan cheese. And the Baked Penne came in a mediocre third. The sauce was very bland.
All pastas came with garlic bread (had the right coloring, but was not flavorful) and an individual side salad in a Styrofoam container (very basic, but fine).

Best joint in town! I used to eat here almost everyday when I worked best by. Everything is fresh and delicious! Parmesan chicken sandwich, chicken lettuce tomato, meat lasagna, spaghetti & meatballs, tuna sandwich with their delicious potato salad. And pasta primavera. And let’s not forget their antipasto salad!!! OMG! I could eat it forever. It is SO tasty. The owner works the desk. Reminds me of New York. I love it!
