The best thing about Poqutio Mas is their pineapple fresca! Wish that they would bring back their flan!

I’ve been going to this Poquito Mas for years. The food is always delicious and the service efficient. I’ve never had a bad experience until today. I was picking up my take away order, and apparently the employees messed up this lady’s order. She was dining in with her family. She got up and walked to the counter to proclaim that they never get anything right at Poquito Mas(lies). I rolled my eyes at her, realizing that she’s the worst type of human. She then walked to get utensils, where her husband met her. She continues to blab on and tell him they they clearly can’t read English and they must be «fresh off the boat.» I told her she was very rude as she walked past me on her way back to the table. Clearly she never took a geography class, because you don’t have to get on a boat to migrate to America from Mexico. And if they can never get anything right, why bother to go back? She should try the McDonalds across the street. You know, the one that was founded by a white person that can read English and therefore doesn’t ever get an order wrong. Was she kidding me?! I was waiting for John Quiñones to come out with his«What Would You Do» cameras. I had to hold back from going over to her table and letting her have a piece of my mind. She needs to check her white privilege at the door of this MEXICAN establishment. Maybe if she could speak SPANISH, the cooks wouldn’t have messed her order up(which was to have one guacamole to go and one for the table, btw). It’s sad that all she has are her looks, which were clearly already fading, because when she’s older and she’s botched from too much Botox and fillers and her husband has left her, all she’s going to have is that nasty personality. Keep up the great job, PM! You did your best to rectify the situation, from what I saw.

If you’re gonna make a burrito, don’t smash it to the point that it’s a fat quesadilla… Both ends coming out isn’t cool. Tasty, yes. But someone back there thought they supposed to juice it! Fountain drinks — flat! And, yes, I asked them to fix the carbonation. Anyways… It tastes good, the ambience is inviting — accept for the«I heard you, but I’m too busy to care right now, staff». Sucks, because I typically like the food here. This is the first time reviewing it. and it just so happens to be when it’s in a bazaro world state. Sorry guys. Maybe I’ll it try again, another time.

Semi fast food if your lucky. I walked in and ordered a chicken taco and chicken enchilada. After waiting at my table for 20 minutes I could not help notice that everyone before me and after me in the line was already eating! After noticing this i couldn’t help thinking that my food better be delicious for this unnecessary wait. Food arrived and it was far from delicious the taco was dry and bland I had to drench it with green sauce to eat it and for the enchilada the red sauce tasted like tomato paste or like a pizza sauce! I really enjoy Mexican cuisine but this place fell short of my expectations big time!

Eat here almost every other couple days or so. Steak tacos no pico on flour and cheese melted for life. XD

This Poquito Mas location never disappoints! Recently Alex helped me plan for a party feeding 70 people during Cinqo de Mayo week. She was awesome! She called me 10 minutes prior to pick-up time just to confirm. When I arrived, the entire staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The food was fresh and hot when we loaded it into my car. We had enchiladas, burritos and a build-your-own taco bar. It was delicious!

I seriously miss this place living on the East coast. The Chipotles, Baja Fresh, and Qdobas of the world just don’t compare to Poquitos Mas. Great chips and salsas. Fish tacos rock. All the tacos rock! The first time I ever tried carnitas was here, and it was awesome. Flavorful, generous burritos. What more could you ask for?

I finally made my first trip and I wish I had known what I was missing. I’d have gone sooner. I went in for a quick and healthy yet tasty meal and that is what I got and more. I ordered the Cabbo Cabbo salad with balsamic but wanted grilled shrimp and steak instead of chicken. No problem. The food was tasty and the portion size was just right. As far as service: excellent! The staff was universally friendly and professional and the restaurant was clean. I look forward to going back again soon.

Um, what did I just eat? A burrito without beans or rice inside? Am I in some bizarre alternate reality or just the west coast? Not a disaster, but maybe I need to get tacos next time.

How this pathetic restaurant chain is able to stay in business, I have no idea. Their food is NOT Mexican food. It is cafeteria Mexican-*style* grub. Sorry guys, tortillas in Mexico are hand-pressed too but they don’t taste like gluey pancakes. The ONLY thing your restaurant does right are the tortilla chips. And that orange salsa on the messy, unkept salsa bar is not too bad. But that’s not reason enough for me to go there ever again. Del Taco gets better and better all the time — I had their Taco El Carbon last week. It wasn’t perfect but it was about 90 percent and the meat was way better than the cheap shoe leather that you put inside your tacos and burritos(and I won’t even begin to comment about your use of POTATO chunks in your rice and burritos, which is about as un-Mexican as it gets). And my gosh, this is the San Fernando Valley — there are plenty of nearly-authentic restaurants that remind me of Mexico City and the Tehotihuacan Pyramids when I eat there. Poquito NOMAS. You guys can’t fool me. You’ve fooled other people for long enough and lord knows I gave your restaurant enough of my hard-earned cash in the past(hope you enjoyed it!) but I’m all done. And your employees are some of the worst I have ever encountered in any fast food chain. «Oh we’re not fast food,» you say? Yeah you are. You’re BAD overpriced fast food, that takes way too long to prepare, and you don’t happen to have a drive-up window. Okay, enough of my testosterone-infused lambasting. If your want your restaurant to improve — and I doubt you do because your’e so focused on profits — BUT, if you can find it within your organization to do so, GOTOMEXICO. Study the way they cook. Get some better recipes. Stop it with the cheap quality ingredients. And tell your employees to lose their snob attitude and stop nickel and dimeing customers for extra things that don’t cost you a cent. And by all means, CLEANUP. Every location of yours I have ever been to is consistently a mess. If you can do those things, I and a lot of other people will come back.

Love this place. The chicken classic burrito is delicious and made with fresh crunchy tortilla. The combination of guac and melted cheese is amazing. The staff is very friendly. Good value for the money.

We ordered some takeout recently. Had been quite a while since we last dined here. A couple pinto bean burritos, two sides of guacamole, some sides of beans and cheese, and a plain quesadilla. This was a disappointment. The guacamole tasted like they used unripened avocados. To compensate, they LOADED it with onions. The cook didn’t even bother to chop the onions either. There were big long slabs of onion in it. Disgusting. The burritos were as bland as could be. No flavor whatsoever. At least the quesadilla was decent. Sad to see this place go downhill, just like so many other restaurants in the area. Won’t be dining here again. There are much better alternatives close by with superior food and more affordable prices.

I really love poquito ma’s overall. The only reason I’m giving this location 4 out of 5 is because they don’t give you as much meat or chicken on your salad as other locations. I literally had 4 small pierce of chicken on my tostada salad today. I’ll see if this changes over time. Otherwise, they are quick, fresh, clean and friendly.

Nothing is bad here. Nachos, enchiladas, burritos, chile pasilla plate; it’s all amazing. Oh! They also have great salsa options, fresh tortillas, and delicious jamaica. The price is super reasonable too, which is true and also something I tell myself when I start to feel bad about going here several times a week.

This is my first time here. I am a nacho lover, hands down I love nachos for days. It is by far one of the Latino foods that I love besides tamales. Lol. I’m an islander and what can I say I love food. The pineapple drink was for sure amazing, it wasn’t too sweet that you get easily overwhelmed. The food was great, so was the place and drink but the service wait wasn’t on top of their orders. Which is something that’s very crucial because you don’t want to be serving people the wrong order. Other than that I would come here again.

I am a big fan of Poquitos Mas … but not of this location. Usually I go to the one on Westwood Blvd in LA and love it. I always get the Chille Pasilla Dinner Plate. The Woodland Hills location had just 50% of the chicken, really skimped with the jack cheese and the green salsa sauce was very watery and rather bland compared to the Westwood Blvd location. Will remain a regular at the LA location, but no thanks to this location.

Honestly this restaurant is overrated. Food was bad, Although the service was impeccable and the servers were super nice. Got the steak protein plates along with a chicken taco. The corn tortillas are gluten-free and are pretty good. The salsa bar is nice because it gives you so many options. But the steak and chicken are gross. The only thing I ate was my beans and salsa and corn tortillas. They need to raise the standards on their meat quality. Yajaira and the rest of the staff were very nice though.

Love it here! I’ve been to this location a handful of times and have never had a bad experience. Always super clean and tidy. Employees are friendly and have yet to mess up an order. If you’re looking for fresh food and ingredients and a quick fulfilling meal, look no further.

Yumz. My friends flipped out on me when I said I had never been to a poquito mas. They were selling me on it, letting me know it surpasses Chipotle amongst other competitors. So we decided to give it a shot. I just had two chicken tacos with the rice and beans. The price was fair, about $ 8 and tax. They said it’s pretty healthy and that most of it is made in house. The chicken tacos were pretty soggy due to the fact that they served them to me wrapped in foil. The heat trapped inside cause the homemade corn tortillas to be wet. Bleh. Their chips, OMG. Their chips are so bombI couldn’t stop eating them. We must have gotten thirds on the chips. And they made me try the homemade flour tortillas which were f*cking amazing! I would go back just for the chips and tortillas. That can’t be healthy, but I already picture myself with a table full of these two items alone and being very content with them.

Never disappoints! This location always meets expectations. As far as Americanized Mexican fast food joints go, Poquito Mas is by far my favorite. I love their extensive salsa bar, with extensive choices including pico de gallo, salsa roja, tomatillo and molcajete. I really appreciate the open kitchen(no mysteries) and that all meats are grilled to order. I love their grilled chicken: simple yet flavorful, lean yet juicy. I couldn’t ask for more of my pollo asada. It’s the perfect filling for any taco or tostada. The carne asada is also tasty and not fatty. Portions are huge! I’m always pleased with the size of my tacos and the generous amount of protein they are stuffed with. I always leave satiated, yet never filled with self-loathing, because the fare isn’t greasy. The dining area is spacious and clean. And can’t beat free parking!
