THEY’VE BEEN CLOSED FOR TWO MONTHS and are still selling a Unilocal coupon! I’ve called and emailed so many times asking for Romina’s contact info. No response. She always gave my boys great cuts. Well, I found Romina today (no thanks to Little Rockstars). She’s now at Kiddie Kuts in Sherman Oaks.
Unilocal admin, I’ve submitted info about them being closed multiple times :(.
Also, why did someone give them 5 stars 5 days ago???

This is closed do not buy a Unilocal coupon. Just drove by today and the sign is still up, but does not look like a kids salon and if you google you will find that it’s closed.

Great experience. Took my son here for his first ever haircut in Dec 2014. He enjoyed every minute of it. They’re very patient, great with the kids and he ended up with a fantastic haircut. Romina was our stylist and we will be going back to her very soon.

Wonderful experience! Brought my son for his first official haircut. The entire staff was so warm and friendly, clean place, age appropriate toys for distraction, quick and efficient… and most importantly they did a great job!

Terrible. Terrible haircut, terrible «stylist», terrible experience all around. $ 25 bucks! what a rip off. We should have walked out as soon as we walked in, the place was dirty, it smelled a little funny, and was much darker than the photos suggest. I’m pretty sure the older lady who did the hair cut had no formal training, at least not in the last 40 years. Our son left looking like Mary Lou Retton. Needless to say we drove straight to my barbershop, which fixed the disaster hair cut my son had when we left Little Rockstar Salon. What a scam. Never again.

My little guy got a haircut from Romina today! He was being very fussy and refused to sit in the chair alone. Romina was very accommodating and allowed my hubby to sit in the chair and hold my son (so he would be more comfortable). She was able to work around that and gave him a really great hair cut. We have been to the kiddy salon at the Fashion Square mall and this one was SO MUCH better! This lady actually knows how to cut hair. THANK YOU! we’ll be back!

Romina was so sweet and very nice my son loved him! We are definitely coming back! We found our new salon! Keep up guys!

My 1 year old princess’ first hair cut experience ever was held at Little Rockstar. Once we stepped in, it felt like we were transported to a place called Toy Land. Rumina cut and trimmed my child’s hair with a gentle touch. Her performance was second to none! Highly recommended.

What a great kids salon! I brought my kids here for there first hair cut and fell in love with this place. Super clean, friendly and helpful staff. They know how to entertain kids and make them feel comfortable for there cuts. I highly recommend it the kids love it so it makes things a lot easier. Success !!!

I was initially excited about my 4-​year old getting her first mani and pedi. I was even more excited that I’d come across this business which catered to children. My excitement, however, was short lived. Although we were greeted by a friendly older woman the younger woman who worked on my daughter proved to be curt, standoffish and impatient. She completed a $ 35.00 job in 15 minutes and failed to use a base coat before applying nail polish on my daughter (which prevents staining). On top of that she gave a rude response when I noticed that my credit card receipt did not provide a space to leave a tip (although her work and most importantly, her attitude had sealed this as my first and last visit, I wanted to remain courteous and provide a tip). Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed and will not go back.

Great service, friendly, fun and warm stylists! My daughter’s first haircut was very memorable! so many different children’s toys, Frozen was playing on two flat screen tvs. We shall be back for the mani and pedi! Thank you again!

I took my son here for a haircut. We had an appointment and waited, Saturday is a busy day there. There were people that came in after me with an appointment that was 30 minutes after ours and they were seen before us!
That’s the part I wasn’t happy with because we were still early, had to wait and I was ok with the wait… But, I wasn’t happy about being seen after people walked in with an appointment later than ours.
The older lady that did my son’s hair did a great job! I felt bad because my son got scared cuz of the scissors and was a little difficult but she still was able to cut his hair and did a great job!
The prices aren’t bad HOWEVER, the parking situation isn’t great! It’s on Ventura Blvd the parking on the back isn’t much.
I’m not sure if I will be coming back

The lady’s here are so nice and patient. They have something for everyone to keep your little one busy during the cut and style. And if your little lady is getting a spa treatments they make her feel like a princess. I will be taking my son and daughter again.

I overall liked the place and the owner was very very nice. I did also purchase the Unilocal deal so I was shocked when I still paid about quite a few bucks. It would’ve been totally worth it since it was my boys first haircut except that it doesn’t look that great. I thought it was just me but it’s been weeks and everywhere we go people even ask if he did it himself :-(now I feel bad about the fact that we cut his cute long locks in hope of debuting his big boy hair at next week’s birthday party. I thought with all the time I spaced in between even a not so good cut would look normal now but it still looks off.

We took our son for his first haircut and it was fantastic. This place was properly equipped with distractions and the staff was patient and compassionate. Not one tear from our 2 year old who has very curly hair.

Let me start of by saying that this establishment is super kid friendly!!! My wife and I have been bringing our 3 year old son here to get haircuts for almost two years now. We live down south in the San Pedro but make the long trek having researched numerous barbers/​salons in our area.
Romina his stylist, has literally done all of his haircuts to include his very first one. She does an amazing job with his hair, and other children for that matter. She is very friendly, and very quick when it comes to getting all the right snips (especially on a toddler). The staff here is also very friendly, and supportive as far as helping your child feel welcome and comfortable. They have toys here for your child to play with, and the have awesome ex-​power wheel cars converted into the barber chairs. My son usually digs the yellow hummer! We will continue to come here in the near future, and recommend it to all who have children. This place seriously ROCKS! See you soon Little Rock Stars Salon!!!

Our 6 year old struggles every time he gets a professional cut. Today he got his cut and stayed relatively calm with his hairdresser. very pleased– used the Unilocal deal and was out in a flash!

Better than the average «kid’s haircut!»
Of course the staff is super nice and kid-​friendly. On Ventura Blvd, you have to be. There would be no excuse for anything less.
What makes me happy about this place (over any of their competitors), is the Unilocal check-​in gift offer, AND the $ 15 for $ 25 deal!
I brought my 3 younger boys in for a trim. The regular price is around $ 23 for a boy’s cut (we opted for the scissor cut which is actually $ 25). I purchased a $ 25 credit for only $ 15! That’s a total savings of $ 30 for all three boys!
(On a side note, either Unilocal or the actual business limited the number of discounts one Unilocaler can purchase at a time). I had to purchase the three separate deals from my account, my wife’s account, and one of my older son’s Unilocal account.
Aside from that tiny skillful and slightly annoying maneuver, we saved some dough, and got the kids some good cuts at in a kid-​friendly environment.
