Do It Right Construction

Complete bathroom remodel. Do it Right construction did a great job. I had a general design in mind and Noam helped figure out the optimal layout. His team is very thorough and paid great attention to details. His team is very considerate and makes requested changes when needed. I went from a dated and worn out bath with many original features to a spacious spa like retreat. I have already recommended them for other jobs.

I had a small but complicated project. Noam’s bid was the most reasonable of three that I obtained, and he came in on budget and on time. He was pleasant, nice to my dogs, and had good ideas. He communicated really well via text, which I appreciated, and I always knew what the plan for the day was. Even though we encountered some unexpected plumbing challenges, his plumber was professional and reasonable with the additional costs. Noam provided great supervision of his team, and was detail oriented. Victor, his framer was also a pleasure; so nice. Both were so professional, I really felt lucky to have found them.

We wanted to redo our bathroom and didn’t have a «go to» contractor so finding someone we could trust seemed like it would be a challenge. I found Noam online and from my first meeting with him I felt comfortable that I had found the right guy for the job. Noam was knowledgable and easy to deal with. Most important to me was that he was on time and on budget throughout and made the process as painless for us as he could. He even went so far as to pick up the vanity we had ordered and bring it to our house saving us $ 100 in delivery fees. We had a small issue with something the day after the job was finished so I called Noam and he and one of his guys were back at our place 2 hours later to make sure everything was right and just the way we wanted it. I definitely recommend Noam very highly.

Hiring a contractor is one of the most stressful things you can do. Especially if you’ve never managed a remodel before. It took me over two months to find a contractor that made me feel comfortable. It’s a lot of money and lots can go wrong!
I had a simple project and I found Noam through Service Magic. He was very highly rated with lots of reviews (most only have 5 or so reviews). I also called to check a couple of his references. His quote was detailed and his price was in the middle of the range. Not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive. The best thing I can say about Noam is he delivers on everything he says. No surprises, no extra charges at the end, and he’s on time! He finished in EXACTLY the number of days that he promised. That is amazing for a contractor! He was also there every day (once or twice) to check on progess. And he was flexible in our design changes and he took care of the tiny details without asking for more money. Example: we initially told him we wanted wood baseboards but then asked for tile baseboards; he said he would do it even tho it would have required a lot more labor. In the end, we went back to wood (he went to three stores to find matching ones) but his flexibility was much appreciated. His guys also took care not to damage any part of the house during the messy construction process. Some dusty floor areas aside, the house (including outside staging areas) were cleaned up very nicely. No nicks on the walls or floors.
I would highly recommend him. You can use him for a full design project or barebones labor work (where you make all the desing decisions). My project was closer to the latter.
