I’ve been going to this donut shop for about 2 years now. They have all the basics plus a large variety of other baked goods, sandwiches, salads, etc. Everything is good and fresh, I’ve never had a bad experience here. Cash only is a slight draw back– but everything is so reasonably priced, you can get a snack with the change you have in your pocket. HIGHLY recommend their breakfast burrito if you’re super hungry!

Delicious sandwiches, Thai tea boba and FRENCHFRIES!!! They also have great service. Family owned place that’s truly a community jewel.

Great breakfast and lunch. Always super busy, but they are fast regardless(the longest I waited at rush was 10 mins). I don’t think they are rude — they just don’t want to chit chat about the screenplay you’re working on. Sorry hosier. Cash only, there is an ATM inside but that’s at an extra charge.

I think it’s important to give time to give good reviews to places who are exceptional, and this is the case for Classic Doughnuts. It’s very weird, but I’m very impressed with a donut shop! As picky as I am! The food is good, had a breakfast sandwich there that was delicious. The servers are beyond nice… they’re on a first name basis with their customers. The place is constantly busy, but I was able to get a table, when I couldn’t get one at the Starbuck’s next door. I sat for an hour at Classic Doughnuts and worked while I enjoyed my breakfast. The weird thing is, it was kinda’ like… a family atmosphere in there. Everyone that came in asked about the new baby that had been born into the family that runs the place. Everyone was friendly, saying, «Good Morning!» to one another. It was like something out of «It’s a Wonderful Life!» I met a writing partner at the Starbuck’s next door as we had agreed at the end of the hour, and what a let down. Pseudo holiday schlock and coffee $ 5 bucks a pop at Starbuck’s — just like every other Starbuck’s I’ve ever been to. Whatever. I was sorry I had to leave behind the warm fuzzies I had at Classic Doughnuts moments before. Like I need another lost hipster misspelling my name on my coffee cup. If you want genuinely good food, at reasonable prices, served with a smile, skip Starbuck’s and go to a real mom ‘n pop little doughnut shop, Classic. It’s the real deal.

If your looking for quick and delicious breakfast, this is the spot. I honestly come here 2 – 3 times a week. I mean who can beat a $ 4 breakfast sandwich. And it’s ready within 5 minutes. The best! And everyone that works there is extremely nice.

Just a great great place for yummies. Sour cream donuts mmm. Interesting take on a croissant; same flakiness, but shaped like a grilled cheese square.

Found this place shortly after moving into the neighborhood a few years ago. I was initially headed for the Starbucks, but noticed that they had breakfast burritos and other sandwiches. Little did I know that I had discovered a locals favorite. While not the healthiest, their breakfast burrito is super yummy. I like them without the potatoes and they’re good at accommodating food omissions/substitutions. It took me aback that they used Keilbasa instead of breakfast sausage, but I’ve grown to love it that way. I also really like their spinach and feta croisant. I rarely get their donuts, but the few I’ve tasted were excellent. Oh and the coffee? Love it there, and never go to that nearby Starbucks.

Their Turkey Croissant is really Good. This place has always been a great small doughnut and sandwich hole in a wall. The Boba is Good too

Because this place is just across the street from my office I can’t help but stop in for breakfast before work. I’m a little confused by a lot of the negative reviews. I’ve been here at least a dozen times over the past month and have not experienced any service remotely similar to the service described in these reviews. This is a family owned donut shop and you can tell, you see the same faces day to day and they actually care about if you’re satisfied. It’s not just some part time job for them – it’s their families livelihood. Anywho, down to brass tax. Pros: Cheap HUGE selection of drinks and sandwiches Lots of different roasts Friendly service, especially from the older woman(I’m tempted to call her the matriarch but that has yet to be confirmed) Convenient location right on Riverside DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches — my personal favorite is B4 on an everything bagel. Cons: Cash only Not the most robust order system in place(no receipts, no order numbers) The wait if it’s busy(at most you’ll be there 10 minutes) Minimal seating space Update as of 8÷20÷15: I placed my first custom order today! I requested that my sandwich be wrapped in tinfoil rather than the usual paper. I’m happy to report that they honored my request.

It’s a solid place. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the attitude, but they didn’t seem unfriendly to me. I got the croissant turkey and cheese sandwich, a flat $ 5. Cash only! It came with the croissant warmed and plenty of meat, iceberg lettuce and tomatoes for every bite. :) The selection of donuts looks great, I’ll definitely be coming back for some sweet treats!

If I could create a negative star this would be it. Their order system just doesn’t work. First off you don’t get your receipt tab as to what you’re ordering(from the board) and the cashier is yelling to the back on what to make. Second they don’t pay attention… So many orders come in that the one staff in the back gets confused. I ordered a breakfast sandwich bagel with no egg, my mom ordered one with everything. After a long 10 min wait. my mom gets a skinny ugly plain sandwich and I get an almost burnt bagel with egg. I wasted 10 min, and almost 9 dollars for two simple breakfast items that could’ve cost me 2 – 3 dollars at McDonald’s. We return them and again the waiting game except this time the cashier in the back is telling her mom how to make them. Little behold there’s a mirror reflecting the kitchen and nobody is wearing gloves. Disgusting … and how disgusting her face was when I wanted my money back. Never again. If it was a café selling small items at 5 – 6 dollars prices sure, but this is a donut shop. Save your money people

Stopped in by chance while I waited for my intended destination to open in fifteen minutes. That was a lucky bit of chance. What a terrific breakfast burrito. We had the A6. The eggs weren’t overcooked, and the burrito was beautifully grilled. Their service is a tad on the slow side, but for the quality, it is so worth it. We also had a couple of blended coffee drinks, and they put the next door Starbucks to shame(any good coffee does).

Typical little donut shop you find on every corner in the valley. Located next to a Starbucks it has fierce competition and in my opinion doesn’t deliver. Customer service was ok. Pretty quiet, not much of a smile or anything. I came in here for a nice cold boba drink on a very hot Spring day. I ordered the Honey Dew Boba. While the drink itself was yummy the boba were not. They were soft and mushy like someone chewed them prior to me and spit them out. Not a pleasant experience. Will not return here for Boba

All the wasted years! LOL. My office is literally a quarter of a mile down the street from this place, and I JUST discovered that they don’t just sell donuts, but have amazing sandwiches as well. My first time here I ordered the turkey sandwich on a croissant… it was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh, like it was homemade. Very filling and only 5 bucks. My husband got a tuna sandwich and he enjoyed that as well. I will definitely be coming back to try their breakfast sandwiches which look delicious. The young lady that helped me was accommodating and pleasant. Just remember, cash only! They don’t accept debit or credit.

Do you know those family owned places, where food is fresh, it is prepared right there for you as you order and no one is trying to cut corners but make a sandwich like you would for yourself, not with one thin slice of meat but three or four, oh what the heck, just pile it on! Yeah, this is one of those places. Order a sausage, bacon, egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich, and then try to remember last time you had such a great breakfast sandwich. That’s right, you can’t! Oh and the sausage on the sandwich is actually a polish sausage! Cash only.

Attitude attitude attitude, No matter how good theirs sandwiches or other food they carry may be, that doesn’t justify the lack of customer service. You ask for your donut, you get what you ask for. You try to ask for anything above and beyond regular menu(extra pickles, extra ketchup, no tomato or whatever else,…), you get this face as if you’re really torturing them. Especially the skinnier girl with the painted eye brows, she’s got to be the rudest I’ve seen at this place. Again the food or the drinks are good and taste fine, the customer service, attitude and helpfulness seriously sucks. I’d have to go to Starbucks now next door, at lease you get a smile not if you’re bothering them…

Doughnuts and sandwiches are good, actually they’re REALLY good! I gave them 2 stars for the attitude I get every time I order my sandwich without mustard or I ask for extra tomato. I feel as if I’m inconveniencing them just for walking in the store. I always tell myself I won’t come back but my biggest issue is no one else in the area can compete with how good the sandwiches are. I guess I have to keep coming against my better judgement!

Great stop before a road trip for Breakfast sandwiches(made to order), croissants, donuts etc. Their menu of sandwiches includes tons of variety for no more than $ 4-$ 5. The croissants looked huge and delicious but we didn’t try any. My new stop for breakfast sandwiches on the go! Parking is in a lot, easy peasy.
