I LOVE Billy’s! Great food for a great price.

Ok so if you ever want to try something other than beef, pork or chicken than this is the place for you. I was tricked into eating an ostrich burger and a bite of a lamb burger and they were really good. The chili cheese fries are simple but yummy as well. Billys Grill is this small little place in Sherman Oaks with really friendly staff and good eats. In addition to traditional burgers they have venison, buffalo, ahi tuna, lamb, and ostrich. Definitely worth checking out.

Delicious cheeseburgers served with buffalo, venison, ostrich, lamb, ahi tuna or beef patties. I’d recommend trying them all. They’re not the largest burgers but they’re way better than your average.

Holly Molly if you looking for a super healthy Burger this is the spot. Didn’t think I was going to enjoy a Bison/​Ostrich burger, but damn it was good… On a nice whole wheat bun as well.

Food here is decent. I used to order their Grilled Chicken Sandwich and it used to have a good amount of meat. Recently ordered it again and I pretty much ate mostly bread and lettuce. There was hardly any meat on there. :(Although the mama sauce that it has is pretty good!!!

Food is always fresh, simple, and served quick. Facility is super clean too! If you’re looking for a classic burger joint without all the frills and gimmicks, this is your spot!

I placed a simple order for delivery and it took nearly 2 hours for my food to arrive. The food arrived cold, and it tasted disgusting. I called requesting for a refund and they hung up.
I recommend you NOT eating there or ordering for delivery. They are horrible!!!

We ordered some take-​out recently. Had been a while since we last dined here, probably 6 months or more.
We ordered an ahi tuna burger, a cheeseburger, some fries, a side of chili, and a bag of chips.
The order took two hours to fulfill! No reason or explanation given.
The ahi burger was quite good. Good quality tuna steak, cooked properly. The cheeseburger was just so-​so, nothing special. The tomato slices and lettuce on the burger were limp.
The fries were awful. Dried out, no seasoning, zero flavor. They looked like they had been sitting in the bin a while. These guys have never done fries well. Why? Simplest item to make and they can’t get it right.
The chili was greasy. Taste was bland. Don’t order it.
They forgot to include the chips. Huh? Two hours to get the order out and they can’t manage to load the chips in the bag first? Poor quality control.
Such a shame because the burgers are mostly quite good. If they could just nail down the sides, these guys would be doing a great business.
They also need to get the orders out quicker. Two hours doesn’t cut it.
Probably won’t be dining here again.

The Buffalo burger «Bison burger» was excellent!!! Will be coming back. No Fries next time tho

I love burgers, anywhere, any place, any time. So I was doing jury duty and we had a lunch break. My friend and I decided to try out Billy’s. We both had the deluxe burgers. They are made to order with fresh ingredients. I added bacon and cheese. We also had onion rings and French fries. The food was outstanding. For adventurous Unilocalers Billy’s offers exotic burgers too like venison, buffalo, ahi tuna, and even ostrich!

I always trust Unilocalers but it failed this time. Me and my bf went here for lunch and it was quiet. We had ostrich burger, Billy’s deluxe burger and onion rings, choc milkshake.
Our burgers were okay, nothing special. The Billy’s burger was a little dry, it’s not juicy at all. Onion rings was alright.
Service is OK. Parking is easy. Small place, 8 chairs in the middle surrounded by 12ish bar stools.
Price is much higher now, ostrich is $ 9.25 and Billy’s burger is $ 4.95. I guess the pic was taken in 2013.

If you’re into burgers and not afraid of trying new things I would highly recommend Billy’s. The owner is really nice and will answer any questions you may have about their menu.
I’ve tried their veal, buffalo and ostrich burger. All are really good but I liked the veal burger the most. Their fries are not bad either. I was introduced years ago and I’ve gone back with my boyfriend and others and made them fans as well.
Nestled between dealerships on Van Nuys Blvd this place is a hidden gem.

I have driven past this place quite a bit and noticed they served such meat as Ostrich etc.
I popped in today for something light and chose a breakfast burrito.
Neither the Chinese guy or mexican guy behind the counter spoke good English and my English accent proved a problem fo them. Between them the order was confirmed and I sat and waited.
It took about 10 minutes buy at least the food was cooked fresh. Other than the salsa the burrito lacked slightly in flavour but tasted pretty decent.
I would come back here and try other things. The prices are higher on the menu in the shop than the priced Unilocal has on here…

Ordered food online and took 2 hours to arrive. TWO HOURS!
Called to request an update and they hung up after mumbling an answer. Took 10 minutes after my call to arrive. Same man on the phone was who delivered the food. I mumbled back. No tip! Boom!

Best burger I’ve had in a while. Prepared in front of me, delicious, fresh veggies on top. Also, the fries? Flawless.
Love this place. Good to have a new spot nearby to visit regularly.

This place is actually consistently good for me, and every time it’s delicious. They are remarkably good for what they are, a simple burger and food joint.
I order either a chicken or regular burger with fries and a shake. Sometimes onion rings and chicken tenders. We get delivery most of the time, and we feel it’s fast and great service.

I ordered the Buffalo burger with grilled onions, seasoned fries, and a soda. As for the place, it’s small. There are 7 chairs in the center, the rest are bar stools, and the design looks like a diner.
It doesn’t seem like a packed place, but there are many to go orders. They deliver and also use grub hub.

I recently moved about a mile down the road from this restaurant Billy’s. I Unilocal to find or do anything and so when I observed the good ratings and distance, it was only natural that I came here.
I would like to first applaud them for the wide variety of food and meats they serve. I put in an order for a cheeseburger combo with an Arnold Palmer and took my seat at the window.
Within 5 – 8 minutes, my food was cooked perfectly and served in a nice little basket. They have Tapatio, ketchup and mustard at the tables which makes it that much better. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and had a good experience here. I will be eating here again and looking for some cojones to try an ostrich or venison burger next time around!
I would have gladly given the 5 stars if the register guy was friendlier or my descriptive with the items on the menu.
