I was thrilled to learn that my fiancé, Diane, surprised me with a wedding gift by hiring Artifex Films to document our special day. From the moment John and and the team at Artifex films arrived at the Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach on the day of our wedding, they were polite, professional, and a pleasure to have around. We had no sense of them being there for the entire ceremony and reception. The team silently managed around us and our family/​friends the entire evening.
With the filming finished, we simply waited on the final product to determine our overall impression of Artifex. Roughly 2 – 3 months later, we received their final work. It was perfect. The music, the moments, the feelings were all perfectly captured on film. They provided online links available for use on social media or download. Additionally, they provided hardcopy DVDs as a keepsake.
If you are hesitating to hire a videographer, just do it and hire Artifex. Artifex films has extremely reasonable prices, and delivers a great product that you will definitely be glad you invested in. They respond quickly to emails and questions, and will work with your photographer on a filming/​photography schedule.

Ok I’m doing a review thats been way overdue. However, I wanted to give credit when it’s well deserved. Artifex films is absolutely amazing. I’m so glad to have booked them for my wedding. I have worked with many videographers over the years and John was bar far the best. John created a video montage for me — something others have done for me in the past. He understood my notes and what I wanted and created something that required very little revision and far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him. You will not regret the hire.

We made the last minute decision to hire a videographer and Artifex films was super easy to work with. John was very responsive to all our questions and last minute emails. My fiancé and I are usually very awkward in front of the camera, but he made it feel like he wasn’t there. He directed us where we needed to be/​look while making everything feel natural. We opted for only one videographer, but John was able to capture all the moments and little details throughout the day. Greatest decision ever!
