Alluring Facials by Lana

Not bad. Took few days to get an appointment but the end result was great. Would def comeback.

I bought a last minute groupon and was hoping to book an appointment for my birthday tomorrow, if possible. The website is terrible — a calendar is visible but no way to book online or see hours for appointments. Two numbers were listed so I called one to see if I could get a pre-​recorded machine, anything for more information. A woman answered the phone, I assume Lana, and said «Hello?» First of all, this is not how one should answer a business line which is listed on a website and does not say it is a cell or home phone. I said, «I’m sorry, I was trying to call a spa.» She said, «You can call, but it’s late!» I felt this was really unprofessional. If you don’t want to hear your phone ring at 10:30 PM, shut it off and/​or don’t listed it on a website. I canceled/​got a refund for my groupon. Thank goodness for Unilocal!After reading the review below about it being in her HOME and used towels on the floor on the bathroom, I was mortified. NOT AT ALL how I wanted to spend my birthday. I would have died.

I purchased a Groupon for a facial here and Lana was able to fit me in for a last minute appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early (my commute was shorter than expected) but she was not home yet. No bother. I waited patiently, but as my appointment time came she still was not home. She ended up pulling into the driveway about 4 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Not exactly the most professional.
The home-​based location was a bit bizarre for me, but I went along with it. I needed to use the restroom and found it a bit odd — there were used towels thrown on the floor. Perhaps I expect too much, but I imagine that if I did beauty treatments from the comfort of my home, I would work to make the common areas as clean and inviting as possible for the comfort of my clients.
In any case… on to the facial.
Lana took me into the treatment room and instructed me to take my blouse off and get onto the table (also to note: she did not offer a glass of water or anything. not before or even after the facial). The treatment began with her washing my face. There were various creams and gels, and at several points the cream got in my eye (at the end when I got up to leave, one of my eyelids was stuck together with cream and that eye stung for a good two hours after I left). At one point, without ANY warning, Lana began zapping my face with a *painful* high frequency zapping wand. I immediately asked her what she was doing, and she said she was killing the bacteria (??) but I really would have appreciated a warning! Lana applied two different masks and left the room for two 7-​minute intervals. This was disappointing to me. I have been lucky enough to experience other facials where the esthetician uses the extra time to do a mini hand/​shoulder/​neck/​scalp massage, and it makes such a difference in the overall enjoyment of the experience.
In any case…
After the masks, creams, gels, extractions, steam, and zapper, I was finally done. When I finally got home and looked in the mirror I had crust in my eyes and tons of crust all over my face (it looked as though I had used an exfoliating scrub and not washed all of it off). Not good.
The next day my skin looked decent, although it didn’t look bad to begin with.
Lana is a nice lady and I am sure she means well, but I would not return here for a facial again.
Side note: Her website needs some serious work. Also — don’t email her at the email address on the website because you will not get a response.

This is the BEST facial. Lana uses the best products. I have been a client for several years and always enjoy going to her. My skin looks great! Lana has a beautiful, relaxing room with soothing french music. She works wonders with her hands and her products.

I always try to get a facial twice a month and this is my fourth visit to Alluring Facials by Lana. I absolutely love this beautiful calm environment. Lana is very nice and always takes good care of me. After this facial i feel young and confident. If you want to get a professional relaxing facial i recommend this location.

I wanted to get a facial before attending a special event and a friend recommended Alluring Facials by Lana, who was able to squeeze me in at the last minute and was extremely accommodating. It was slightly nerve-​racking for me to go to a home-​based location, however Lana made me feel very comfortable, relaxed, and at ease (and you can’t beat the parking situation!). I went with the «alluring facial» for $ 65. Lana worked gently and efficiently; I almost fell asleep it was so soothing. After the procedure I felt rejuvenated and almost didn’t want to put on make-​up for my party. I also spoke to Lana about facial waxing and may have to go back soon for that. Lana’s prices are very reasonable. Overall I would recommend Alluring Facials (and have, to several of my gal pals). Thank you, Lana :)

At first i would like to say that i have a very complex skin. Scheduling an appointment time which is convenient for me was very easy.
Lana was able to see as late as 8pm. Cozy, private atmosphere and my facial sometimes takes up to 1.5−2 hours meanwhile i get charged a regular fee.
I love massages, amazing treatments especially collagen plus oxygen treatment. My face is glowing and my skin looks and feels very healthy. Highly recommend!
