This is NOT and AT&T store. It sure looks like one but it’s only an «authorized reseller.» Walk 30 more feet west to find the real AT&T store. I’m fine with people running cell phone specialty shops, but they shouldn’t advertise that they are an official store. After getting bad information and waiting a week for a phone they don’t even carry and not getting any updates, I decided to just get a phone they did have. I had already had the plan I wanted fully explained to me by there rep when I first came in the store. Now that I was moving forward I find out that the features I specifically asked about weren’t supported with my plan. then they automatically added 3 paid monthly features I didn’t need and said they couldn’t remove them. I would have to wait for a text from ATT and opt out then. Then to top it all off, now that all my information is completely swapped over to the new phone and, my old phone is now completely reformatted and wiped clean, I try to pay with my official AT&T gift card. Oh sorry. We don’t accept AT&T cards. What!?! The manager did try to do whatever she could to help me out, and I appreciated it, at the time. But in the end they couldn’t do anything because they aren’t actually AT&T. I now had to wait for another extended period of time while they figured out how to cancel the upgrade, transfer my number back to my old phone and reverse the sale. Awesome. Now I have my old phone back that is completely wiped and all the setting defaulted. It wasn’t until I left, walked 30 feet west to the real AT&T store and talked to one of their reps that I really learned their scam and got really upset. None of the«paid monthly promotional» services they said I needed to have were required. In fact. One of the services the included was phone insurance for $ 9.99/month. «If anything ever happens to your phone, no questions asked, just bring it in for a new one. For free. You can do this twice a year.» Sounds awesome right? Liars. There’s actually a $ 199 deductible you have to pay. The real AT&T guy said people fall for that all the time and get screwed when they try to get a new phone. Oh, and to top it all off, it was actually cheaper at the real AT&T store. So save yourself the hassle and deception and walk another minute west to a real dealer.
Pretty R.

Don’t even think they deserve ½ star — this is on corner of Ventura and Van Nuys, next to Chevron gas station. Bad customer service — incompetent manager — Karoline, and staff, Oliver — go to real AT&T store by Panda Express instead. I returned a SIM Card in early October, they never processed my refund, this month only, I’ve been calling the store 10x, either, on hold, no idea about refund, oh, we’ll process it right away. I should’ve disputed this with my Amex earlier — and, this is only frreaking $ 27. Getting ready to write a complaint letter to our local congressman Howard Berman.
