Had a great time today having a wine tasting a Liberty! Lovely winery and fun to be so close to their vineyards! $ 2 for 6 generous pours of your choice from their wine list. I tried 6 of their dry wines as I’m not a huge fan of Rosé or dessert wines. My favorite by far was the Pinot Grigio! It has some delicious(and strong!) grapefruit notes, which makes it very zingy. Not what I was expecting! The reds were okay! Some were a bit too fruit forward for me, and others a bit too oaky. However, the tasting itself was a lot of fun and I enjoyed discussing the different wines with Charlene, who was very sweet and knowledgable. Looking forward to enjoying the bottle of Pinot Grigio that I purchased! Highly recommend stopping by!

I always have been a fan of liberty! For whatever reason I can’t seem to find a wine I truly dislike here! Now with the new editions of cool cat, white chocolate and chocolate wines, I could be bringing out cases of wines I love from here! I’ve always have had an awesome experience here, and yeah if you show up in your harley, they take extra care in packing your wines for the ride! The staff here has always been more than willing to assist. I have plenty of wines to hold me over until me next go round.

Please don’t let the four star rating help you decide NOT to stop here, because that would be a shame. This is one of few wineries that I can find a wine that I will drink! However, it’s only in my top 5 wines. The staff here is what prevents this place from a 5 star — they just never seemed as friendly as my number one winery! The pricing I feel is in par, the selection is certainly good, and the place is very nice. They carry a few gifts that are unique and they normally will give you bigger discounts with the more you buy — but most wineries do that! I’d definitely do some wine tasting!

I make it a point to stop in every time I’m in New York. White Side of the Moon is my all time favorite wine. My cousins like the Red White and Blue Rosé. When I stopped in, it was packed. I’d never seen it so busy. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, too.

Awesome Wines, Awesome Winery. Stopped here on Saturday while in the area. Was so happy with the place I stopped back on Sunday. I’ve probably been to close to 100 wineries since I began going tasting and this one could easily stand up to any others I have been to. Not a huge Château or anything, but the boutique area and winery are nice to look at. Although I am usually there for the wine not the ambiance. On Saturday I wasn’t really planning on tasting wine, but as I drove by I figured how could I not stop in. Now I was not really dressed for the occasion as I had a shirt with sleeves cut off and some old shorts.(I just came from the beach and was running errands) Any pretentious place would have seen how I was dressed and turned their nose up at me. But this place was very welcoming despite my lack of proper attire. $ 2 gets you six wines to taste and they actually have quite a few choices of just about everything, dry white, semi dry white, sweet white, sweet rose, dry red, sweet red and then some desert wine. On Saturday I tried some dry white and reds. Then on Sunday I tried some of the semi-dry and sweet whites along with a rose. All the wines were very good. I especially like that they sourced native American grapes or hybrid grapes. Two red wines they made where Noiret and Marquette are from Hybrid grapes and both offered a unique rustic flavor I enjoy in a wine. Can definitely see they put some care into creating these wines when tasting these two. Their Chocolate wine is one of the best I ever had and priced well at $ 12. Took two bottles of it home with me. if you like small production wine that really shows an expression of the local area, these guys are a great example, and the best part is it’s not even off the beaten path, they are an easy drive on the main road between Silver Creek and Dunkirk. Well worth stopping at if you are in the area.

What a great find! Nice vineyard in Upstate NY. Wine tastings are very inexpensive — 2 $ for a flight of 6 wines. Nice selection of wines. The Pinot Noir and Reisling are exceptional. A good selection of wines, many in the semi sweet or sweet varieties. Good prices averaging 12 $ a bottle. Very nice atmosphere in the tasting room; cozy and warm. I came for the Christmas in July wine and cookie pairings(free) which was very an enjoyable event. I’ll come back when I’m in the area again.

This place is a gem. Definitely the nicest winery in the area by a long shot. And as far as upstate NY goes, their wines are excellent. Buy 6 bottles, the 7th is free. Or in lieu of the 7th bottle, they will ship the 6 to you for free. Pretty sweet deal.

Liberty is the vision that came out of two grape farmers desire to commit to something they love. Their care and attention really comes through, and they have a large selection of excellent wines. We came in for a winemaker’s dinner, which in itself was fantastic. The pairings were great and the staff excellent as well. We learned a lot in the tours of the barrel room and adjacent vineyard. A great find in our first foray to the NY wine tour scene.
