Don’t eat here! Or if you decide to stick to the onions ring and chocolate shake! Everything else isn’t worth your money. I definitely won’t be back. They smoother their burgers with condiments, but that doesn’t include ketchup.(I think in order to disguise their burger). And their cole slaw consists of shredded cabbage and mayonnaise :(What happend to the carrots and other ingredients that are suppose to be in cole slaw?! You would get a better burger a McDonald’s for ½ the price! The outdoor patio is very nice but I can’t reiterate enough on DON“T go here!

Another Burger joint. Not super different than all the others. From what I understand this place used to be called something else and is now called Epic Grill. I ordered the classic Cheese Burger and the beau ordered the Reuben — totally his fave if it’s on the menu anywhere — I’m getting to know his habits. Counter ordering and then food delivered to the table, classic Denver Burger joint. The burger looked beautiful, tons of pickles — not just one or two, like six or seven. The burger was solid and if I was in the neighborhood again I would definitely stop in for a bite. The beau liked his Reuben just fine, not great, not awful — Solid. Good burger joint if your in the mood.

So this place used to be called fat burger and I would visit them on occasion when I was living at my other apartment. I usually enjoyed my meal at the other location. Decided to purchase the groupon $ 6 for $ 12 worth of food at the newly named Epic Grill. I got the what I think was called epic burger w/cheddar cheese. I will concur along with most of the other reviews SKIPTHERELISH, it just has an odd taste. Burger was cooked well and wasn’t dry. All the other toppings were good, and fresh. No wilted lettuce. Had the skinny green chili fries and the green chili definitely had a little spice to it. Had better fries elsewhere though. And the best part of the whole meal, the chocolate shake. It was delicious! Perfect thickness and chocolate flavor. The lady at the register was really nice. I came in at an off time and the whole restaurant was empty except for myself. Not sure what their business is like at other times of the day, but if its anything like what I experienced they probably won’t be around too long. Not the best burger I’ve had but not the worst. and unfortunately for them there are other places that are executing their burger better. And their prices are a little high. $ 8.50 for the epic combo.

It was just OK. The meat did not have any seasoning, so that was a bummer. The burger came with relish on it that I would not get next time… kind of a weird taste to me and really not the best relish. The fries were just ok. Skinny fries is what they call them – I have had better and worse. All-in-all there are better burgers in town, but I was curious to give it a try. Probably will not rush to go back. This location seemed a little run down. The staff was nice though. 2.5 star rating – not as bad as a 2 but not quite a 3!

3.5 stars… my favorite fast foodish burger in colorado… standard bun… thick and well seasoned meat… standard toppings and condiments… i usually get everything on my burger except relish… the relish isnt horrible on a burger, just different and i prefer it without… good onion rings too

Used to come here all the time but this last trip was not so great. Burger came out way to fast to be freshly cooked and certainly tasted as such. Burger was lukewarm at best. Bacon was so hard it. was like trying eat rocks… Don’t know when I’ll be back. You used to get the option of fat fries but now you just get generic mcdonald’s fries… So sad.

A big Fat«Meh» for Fatburger. This place looks so much like all the other fast casual burger joints out there, but falls short in the quality, taste, and value categories. Thankfully we used a Groupon so at least we didn’t waste any more than $ 10, because I probably would have been miffed if I’d paid full price. Because $ 8 for a burger, fries, and a drink is a bit steep. We all had the 1⁄3 lb burgers. Mine was ordered with cheese, no pickle, no tomato. I opted for the«Skinny Fries» rather than the«Fat Fries.» About 10 minutes later, our food arrived. My burger arrived sans tomato, but positively gooping with relish.(See Photos.) I guess«relish» does not translate in the«No Pickles» request world at FatBurger. The bun itself was average supermarket-bagged style, but without that squishy goodness. This one, in fact, seemed stale. I only ate the bottom bun(After I’d scraped off what I could of the relish-mustard mess atop the burger.) Oh, and the cheese wasn’t melted. You’re a *hamburger* joint. How freaking hard is it to MELT the cheese? Call it a pet peeve, but I can’t stand unmelted cheese on a burger. The quality of the meat was higher than McDonald’s, but honestly, at Smashburger, or even FiveGuys, the beef is better. And for $ 8, you could go to a real restaurant and get a «Restaurant» burger instead of this Fast Food version. The fries tasted very similar to Burger King’s offerings.(You know, with that weird coating that makes them«last» hot, longer?) Again, just came up short. Right down the street are Freddy’s Steakburgers’ amazing, killer fries, which these shouldn’t even be allowed in the same category. Lastly, I asked for mayonnaise, and it was pre-portioned into 1 oz Solo Cups, defnitely of the thin, cheap-mayo or possibly Miracle Whip variety. Uck. As we walked out the door, literally my first words were«Well, I don’t like Fatburger» so that’s not exactly a glowing endorsement. There’s just too many good burger joints in this town with higher-quality, better-tasting offerings to waste my time, money, or calories at FatBurger.

Growing up in CA, I visited Fatburger maybe 2 – 3 times in my life. With In-n-Out and Hamburger Habit in my ‘hood, it wasn’t really a priority. Then I received a Groupon offer $ 21of food for $ 10. B and I went there on Friday, and we both got fatburgers made to order, fat fries, chili cheese fat fries, sodas and a shake. It was tasty and all that for $ 10? I really can’t complain. Plus the service was great. So yes, for $ 10 a great deal but I don’t know if I’d want to pay the full $ 22 for it.

My husband and I headed to Fatburger for dinner today to use a Groupon I had purchased. I went in hoping for something similar to In n Out(one can always hope, right?), but what I got was an average burger with average fries. Definitely not bad, but not great either. I think they used pickle relish instead of pickles on the burger, which I am not a big fan of. Other than that, the burger was pretty juicy, just not super tasty, and the skinny fries were not fresh cut fries but they tasted all right. As Renee K. mentioned, the staff here is very nice and friendly and asked us several times if we needed anything else and how the food was while we were eating. I am glad I tried Fatburger out, but I think in the future I will stick with Smashburger when I want a good, fast burger.

I think Caroline C’s review is spot on, but I do want to add that the folks who work at this location are super nice and friendly. Also, if you’re looking for a tasty veggie burger, you won’t find it here; the patty is mushy and wet …

Not nearly as good as I was expecting, sadly. Burgers — pretty decent but not great. The bun was squishy and fresh, the toppings were super crispy, and the amount of mustard/mayo/relish etc was spot on, but the meat itself was small, flavorless and disappointing. It’s a shame they don’t taste as good as they look, because they look really delicious. Fries — I like the fact you have the option of Skinny Fries or Fat Fries. I went for the Fats, he had the Skinnies, and both were completely generic but nicely cooked. I can’t help but feel that if you’re going to charge $ 9+ for a burger meal, you should at least try to make the effort to serve up fresh, hand-cut fries. Five Guys manages to do it pretty spectacularly, after all. Milkshake — decent but definitely not $ 4.25 a cup decent! Though the service was fast and friendly, and this location is pretty nice(the patio looks across Englewood Golf Course to the mountains), food-wise, Fatburger is overpriced and mediocre imo. I can’t see myself returning anytime soon.

Boy was I disappointed. Not much to this place and I walked out very unsatisfied. Fatburger? I don’t think so. I definately will not be going out of my way to go here again. I think there are much better burger joints, that are fast food, way better than what I just had. There are burgers that I crave and this won’t be one of them. All we can do is give it a shot, and the shot fell short of my expectations.
