I just had my wedding in Shelton this weekend, and I can’t recommend 2nd Street highly enough! Taylor (salon’s wedding coordinator) was so professional and easy to work with. Taylor did my mom’s makeup, and I have never seen her look so beautiful. Carrie did my makeup and I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out. Perfect coloring and attention to my very specific details. I didn’t get my hair done but the bridesmaids’ hairdo’s were lovely.
Taylor also did my spray tan a couple days before and it looked so great! The salon is spacious, well-​lit, and beautiful. All the gals who work here are so nice and do a great job. Pricing is very reasonable.

I made an appointment to come in while on vacation to have my hair cut and colored. Alison did an amazing job, she listened to what I wanted and gave me the hair I was looking for. It’s been two weeks now and I still love it and am having so much fun styling it lots of different ways. I would go back but I live in California so probably won’t but if she was local I would be getting my hair done by her as often as I could. The price was very reasonable too. The salon is pretty and very well staffed. They offer coffee and tea and the bathrooms are clean. They are doing it all right here and I hope their business thrives! Thanks for being a very fun special part of my trip.

Taylor is the best! Great salon, experienced staff, great products! The additional retail selections are nice and I ALWAYS leave with a gift for someone special! Another Shelton jewel in an otherwise life less town!

I have been going here, and ONLY here, to get my hair done for about 5 years. I have never had a bad experience, and Carrie is an absolutely phenomenal stylist. She is a WIZARD with color, and every time I do something different she is honest and helpful with her opinions and advice. I love the environment at 2nd Street and don’t plan to ever go anywhere else.

Hannah is the most amazing hair stylist/​human being ever!!! All the employees seem nice though. Salon is beautiful too. It’s a gem in Shelton. I come here from Olympia to get my hair done! Definitely recommend this salon.
