Thankful that we have a reputable salon in Shelbyville! I highly recommend Megan J if you are really picky about your hair! All the stylist here take pride in their work so I am sure no one will disappoint you.

I have searched for years to find a salon is return to. This is the one. It’s hard to fit my schedule so I’ve had three different colorists but Joy, Eden, and Ann have all done something different to keep me a red head as I get older (and whiter) and I always leave and stay happy. My hair went south when I had my daughter at 40 and I read that Aveda was the best for damaged hair. I was driving to louisville for color when I found Allure and this is where I will stay. I highly recommend these ladies and love that even if I can’t see the same person every time due to my schedule I can count on getting something special when I go.

I reviewed multiple places within 100 mile radius before deciding to go here to get my hair done. I needed the works… cut, color and highlight along with a conditioning treatment and I was going to be picky on who I thought could do a good job. I originally went in for a consult on what we wanted to do and what I could expect and made the appointment at that time. During the day of my appointment I felt like the only customer there as the service was so attentive. Eden was my stylist and did a FABULOUS job
I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and cannot say enough good things about my experience there. I will definately return.

Shanna H. cut and styled my hair at Allure today. First, I have to say she was very polite and a pleasure to chat with; very professional. She did an excellent job on the cut and styling. She really knows what she’s doing. I definitely reccomend her. Allure has a very pleasant atmosphere & the ladies are great too.

I just have to write an updated review for this business! Not because their service has changed, just because it’s been over 18 months and they still are as fabulous as ever.
I walked in with a frizz of an overgorwn mess that I waited way too long to get cut. No complaints or mumbles from the stylist/​business owner Ann. She was friendly as ever, gave me a great aroma therapy session, massaged my shoulders and back, then got straight to work on my hair. An hour later I walked out refreshed with a wonderful haircut that had all the details that were important to me.
Thanks for the great hospitality, wonderful service and relaxing atmosphere. I’ll be back and next time I’ll try not to wait so long in between cuts.

The best. From the time you enter the door until you leave, you are treated special. The massage person was very friendly but not over bearing. There was minimal chitchat the way I like it. She asked where I needed special attention and worked that area more. I walked out feeling more relaxed than I have in years. Appointments are hard to get because of the number of people wanting massages. Please allow a couple of weeks. They do have 2 massage therapist but only one does men. Both are great though (my wife states). Will defiantly con tine to go back!!!
