So we got a sweet frog. When we went in we were literally greeted by four employees huddled behind the register. We were the only ones there. The place hasn’t gotten busy yet and not quite sure how it will do. There’s already a Fuzzy Peach in a much better location. If you’re on the wrong side of the highway, you’re really going to have to want some yogurt to make that U-turn. Everyone was very friendly. The place is super clean, new and modern (I could swear those light fixtures are from IKEA). The yogurt was yum (mango and raspberry with fresh fruit). I did notice that some of the kids toppings were super chewy but I guess it’s hard to keep orange slices and sour patch kids fresh (but guess what? kids don’t care if candy is fresh as long as you’re giving them candy — remember that dish of hard candies on your grandmas tv?). So a great, clean, inexpensive place to bring your family for a treat!

This Sweet Frog was a long time coming, but it was definitely worth it. I kind of like the Shelby Fuzzy Peach a bit better, but both of these places are great. Sweet Frog has great variety, options including non dairy and gluten free, and plenty of yummy toppings. Honestly, you’d probably spend less here than getting desert at any other local restaurant. A nice new location, a clean, fun interior, and lots of the Sweet Frog merch the kiddies go crazy for makes this an A-OK stop for fro-yo.
