Okay, while not much to look at on the outside and the inside is rather quaint and small. The food is spectacular. You can dine-​in or get it take out, the only way this place gets any better is if they start delivering. We got the Beef and Broccoli with white rice and the General’s Chicken with fried rice. My wife also got an egg roll. Everything had outstanding flavor. My wife said the egg roll was crunchy and delicious. The General’s Chicken was spicy and loaded with flavor. The Beef and Broccoli can stand against all Beef and Broccoli that I’ve had elsewhere and probably come out on top. It can be true what they say about Hole in the Wall establishments having the best food. We shall be making this a staple in our restaurants of choice while in the Shelby, NC area. They even have online ordering, which is completely easy to use. If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and phone or go online and order your take out and just enjoy this gem of a place.

Really nice people and really good food. The curry chicken is fantastic and so is the chicken on a stick. It’s much better and fresher than what you typically find at Chinese places!

I really love China Express. The food is a big step up from traditional take-​out (and the long lines and busy parking lot is a testament to that) and the folks that own it are just the best. Feel free to try more of the authentic Chinese dishes (the Singapore noodles, for example, or Moo Goo Gai Pan) and you’ll authentic food.
Of course, staples like Sweet and Sour and Sesame Chicken are excellent too.
