We purchased our beautiful tile for an upgrade of our 2nd bath. The first time we came in we were helped by a knowledgeable friendly worker. Plus she gave us a 10% discount. The second time in another clerk begrudgingly waited on us. She acted like we were just a bother and NO10% off. She actually never made eye contact with us. We witnessed her giving other customers the Same«cold» treatment. We will continue to deal with the business but will avoid dealing with this desk person.

My Mom ordered $ 5,200.00 in granite counter tops from Home Depot with Tile & Stone Works as the subcontractor. All went well until the day of installation which has been an extremely disappointing experience. Tile & Stone Works arrived 2.5 hours late and only dropped off half the counter tops. The installers told us that the sink that we gave them 3 weeks ago has a crack in it and we need a new sink. We could not see a crack in the sink, but we took their word and ran to the store and exchanged the sink in 15 minutes, but the installers left. Now they will not come back until Monday(today is a Friday). Meanwhile, my husband(who tore out the counter tops yesterday and was planning to re-plumb the sink today) and I have to leave to drive home, a 2 day drive, because I have to be back to work on Monday. Calls to Home Depot and to Tile & Stone Works pleading for them to at least drop off the remaining granite counter top so my husband can build a temporary sink for my Mom until the installation can be completed have been met with«sorry, no can do, the installers are on another job and have another job after that.» from Tile and Stone Works. Meanwhile, the representative from Home Depot went home and left a note for someone else to call us and tell us the same thing. Now my Mom has to find and pay for a plumber to install the sink on Monday because we cannot stay any longer. We are all very disappointed and had hoped that someone at either Home Depot or Tile & Stone Works would be more sympathetic. Our predicament has fallen on deaf ears, and no one has offered anything to make it right.

I had a great experience here and recommend over other tile shops in the area. This is located in Shelby’s tile row and is the best in my book. It has great customer service which really set them apart from the other stores. The prices are affordable and fair(I found the Tile Shop to be way more expensive) and they have quality products. I worked with Cheri and she has been great, I have purchased tile for my bathroom and will be back to get granite and tile for my kitchen as well.

We had granite installed in our kitchen yesterday. My husband and I could not be more pleased! Our kitchen looks wonderful. The installers were polite, professional, and on time. They took the time to answer all my questions and provided some helpful cleaning tips. The price was also very reasonable for granite — much less than other companies I researched. I highly recommend. Our neighbors were so impressed that they are planning to use them to install granite in their kitchen as well.

Give them a try but read the fine print. I was happy with the product I purchased and the promised delivery date.

Great selection! Have used their designer Mary for years and have nothing but wonderful service, including granite installation. Their selection is so large it can be overwhelming, but Mary is so knowledgeable in her job she can narrow your choices down to exactly what you’re looking for! Highly recommend!

We had granite countertops installed in our kitchen. We loved the granite, but the installation was so poor that the Stone & Tile boss is coming out tomorrow to discuss options for replacement. The installer did everything wrong: crooked cuts; miscut the faucet holes even though I had the new faucet sitting out for them to measure; cut one side so long that they had to cut out drywall to make room; one side ½ inch too short, which makes it very difficult to put in a tile backsplash. The installers tracked mud through the kitchen and did not clean up. the stone and tile products are very good, as is their design assistance, but I would never recommend them for installation.
