If you know anything about me, one thing you should know is that I’m not cheap. If anything, I spend too much money on things. I don’t like buying cheap, knock-off versions of things. No, I always prefer to save up, and get the good stuff whenever possible. Then, when forced to look for a Christmas gift of $ 10 or less, I was stumped. That’s when my girlfriend told me about Five Below. The concept, for those of you who don’t know, is pretty interesting. Much like the dollar stores of years past, Five Below is marketed for items of $ 5 or less. I wasn’t sold after hearing about it, but after my girl made me go through the store, there is actually quite a bit to be had for $ 5. I’ve been back a few times since December, and the staples seem to be candy, chips, pop, plates, balloons, and other party favors. There also always seems to be an abundance of t-shirts, and children’s toys. Nowhere near top of the line stuff(except for the candy), but if you have some unexpected guests or just want to put some weird or funny party favors out for guests, this place will definitely do the trick. Overall, this is a cool store, that can safe you when you don’t want to spend a fuck ton, or would simply like to have some wacky stuff for people to mess around with. I suggest making a stop here and see what weird stuff you come across.

Although it is smaller than on John R. in my opinion, this Five Below the same quality and variety of products. I got some favors here for by little brother’s birthday party, and I paid less than $ 20! After looking through their iPod/phone case section, I’m pretty sure that this place would be slightly disorganized at any Five Below. Less missing cases out of packaging though, so that’s a plus on store security compared to the John R. location. There’s also the fact that the store is a lot more organized and neater as well, but why do you guys have to spread the candy all over the store? I mean, you could put the bulk candy next to the other food that you sell, but I guess considering the size of the store that would kind of be a problem. Overall, great store, reasonable prices, and I would definitely go back to shop here again.
