Cottage Inn Pizza

Second time this has happen to us at this location. I order a spicy Mediterranean and they give me a chicken Mediterranean, even after i specifically told him no chicken just the regular spicy Mediterranean. I live 5.8 miles from this location, i pass over 10 different pizza chains to get to this one. So we start driving and my son reminds we should check the pizza, remember last time. So he looks in the box and it’s chicken. At least this time didn’t have to drive all the way home and back. So i go into the shop and yeah i was mad and used some choice words, but for the love of pizza get your stuff together. I tell the one guy what happen, no sorry just «I’ll make you a new pizza» no kidding really, you’ll do that just for me… really made me feel so special NOT!
So i tell him what about the breadsticks, there gonna be cold. This guys says well we didn’t mess up the breadsticks just the pizza. I’m like you gotta be kidding me, no problem that’s what Unilocal is for to inform people of great places and of not so great places. He gives me a new pizza and a fresh order of breadsticks. It’s too bad because i love there pizza. Not any more, horrible customer service just cost you a loyal customer. Attention chain pizza shops hungry guy looking for a new spot.

Not recommended. Not fresh, not unique and note a value. Of all the pizza available in America’s best pizza market, like Green Lantern, Cloverleaf and Louie’s on 9 ½ mile road and Dequindre why would anyone want to eat a pre bake cheap pizza? Other great local greats and that’s just to name a few. Mama Rosa or Paisano’s in St. Clair Shore.
There is more great pizza in the Detriot than any city in this great Nation.
Maybe I’m just spoiled with the vast number of high quality pizzeria thought out the Detriot area. Even the market like Randazzo and Vince & Joe’s fresh high quality pizza. It’s your own money spend it wisely.

Surprisingly delicious.
I absolutely loved the thin crust pizza here.
The cheese bread was great as well. I am excited to try another pizza and maybe some of the other things on the menu.
The prices seemed just above average but are definitely worth it.

Not sure what else you would want from a local pizza joint.
It was pouring rain so I placed a delivery order online.
I loved the options — half toppings, half toppings — pick which half, flavored crust, and choose how much sauce you want.
We got the regular round. The crust was perfectly chewy.
We also ordered a small Greek salad. It had lots of toppings and was plenty for the 2 of us.
Estimated delivery time was one hour and it arrived in 40 ninutes.
I mean really, what more could you want?

Friendly staff. I always get the same thing and I love it. Normally if I am hung over my go to food is cottage in Pizza. I get the Spicy Polynesian pizza with Thin Crust. It has peppers, onions, BBQ sauce, pineapple and cheese. LOVE

I was truly hoping it would come close to the Original Cottage Inn, in Ann Arbor.
The highlight was the sauce.
the low light was the chewy doughy crust.
I would put it below a Little Caesars Deep Dish /​Hot & Ready
On the plus side, the order taker/​staff was very polite & upbeat, and the place was clean.

Not a fan this is one step below frozen $ 2 buck Costco pizza. This is Detroit some of the best pizza in the world like Green Lantern, Oliver, Crispellis or Mama Rosa’s. Why in the world would anyone buy this junk. Save your money and time if you want cheap get Little Caesar. At least the dough is fresh.
There lets of choices in the are why not get something good for your money.

The pizza is ok. They have a pulled pork pizza that is really good but their crust and bread sticks are very dry and don’t have much flavor. The workers are your average mix of high school students. Sometimes they are friendly and other times they are too focused on talking to each other.
