This is a awesome place, it’s right out of a food network show. Everything is on point and it has a spot. It almost it to cool/modern for the city. It’s also a grocery store type thing also. Cheese cave, staff was ok friendly, food was good quality.

Great find! We used Unilocal to help us find this place for breakfast. The food was delicious. The staff was awesome. The atmosphere was charming. I had the breakfast tacos. They had chirezo sausage in them and corn tortillas. Unusually but yummy.

Loved this small, yet varied selection of gourmet foods! Ate lunch special, grabbed a few awesome cookies and coffee, then wandered thru the attached grocery/deli. Selection worthy of an amazing party prep! Did nor expect such a high end place in this small town.

I was in town from San Francisco for a wedding at Kohler and ended up eating breakfast here twice. Between my husband and myself we had the buckwheat blueberry pancakes, turkey bacon, the tico, a breakfast sandwich special, the hash and cold brew coffee. Everything was amazing! San Francisco is the capital of farm to table dining and we were incredibly impressed with everything we tried. Numerous other people attending the wedding also ate breakfast here and everyone raved about it! If I am ever in the are again, this will be my first stop!

Amazing food. The best French Toast I have ever tasted. Their vegetarian options are outstanding. The Soy Chorizo in the breakfast tacos was outstanding! No extra salsa needed. Farmer’s Market meets hipster ambiance. I did enjoy the atmosphere and the wait staff were very good. Will stop by next time passing through Sheboygan.

Great coffee, their burger was amazing. Probably in the top 5 I’ve ever had and that’s not to be expected for a restaurant in Sheboygan. We came here on a Sunday, right at 11:00 when they started serving lunch but they also have breakfast until 3:00pm. Great atmosphere, the service was very good, and there is a little grocery store next door too that’s connecred. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Prices going up, service going down. The ladies who man the counter provide deplorable service with one exception, Susan. I can’t support a business who treats customers like that.

This has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Sheboygan. My girlfriend and I decided to come here for a quick lunch date, and we had a really nice time. We were seated right away in the back on the first floor near the bakery, and our waitress was really helpful and funny. Right away, we decided to start our meal off with a few smoothies. My partner got a Tropical smoothie($ 6.95) that includes Mango, peach, banana, pineapple juice, and coconut water. I got a vegan PB² smoothie($ 7.95) which has PB², Maca powder, banana, almond milk, and date. They were good, but I think they’re a little overpriced for the size. We ordered an order of cheese curds($ 8.95) for an appetizer. Last time we had been here, they were amazing, so we felt pretty good about it. Boy, were we disappointed. There was like, no cheese left. It was mostly hollow breading bubbles. On top of that, it was super salty. We pretty much left them alone. It was a bummer. Then came the main event. My girlfriend got a Humpty Dumpty Burger($ 13.95), that comes with roasted garlic aioli, arugula, tomato, mushrooms, bacon, avocado, and a fried egg. She was really happy with it, and would definitely order it again in the future. I decided to try something new, and ordered a vegetarian walnut burger($ 8.95), which is a Trempealeau Hotel walnut burger topped with roasted red pepper, havarti cheese, lettuce, tomato, and horseradish mayonnaise. This is seriously one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and there’s not even meat on it. The flavor was so good, and the texture was really nice– an issue that I have with a lot of veggie burgers. I’d order it again in a heartbeat. I do think it’s a bummer that sandwiches don’t come with a side and you have to order it separate, but it is what it is. It’s also a shame they aren’t open for dinner. All in all, we were both happy enough with our experience. We’ll keep coming back, and I’m sure I’ll get the walnut burger again too.

Field to Fork is one of my favorite places in Sheboygan. As far as breakfast and brunch go, it’s in a league of its own. Great options for various dietary restrictions, locally sourced ingredients, and an inspired menu with wonderful flavor palettes make this a must-visit spot whenever I’m in Sheboygan. Make sure to check out the great options in the grocer and bakery as well. Keep doing your awesome thing Field to Fork!

yummy food, okay bakery… impressed with the soy scrambler. great flavor however a bit too potato-filler heavy(the issue at most places). i would have loved to have seen some leafy greens instead. the monkey bread sounded so promising but was cold and dry. my tea was the same tea i have on my desk at work — a bit bummed about that(wish they offered loose leaf tea, especially with a general store attached.) the rest of my huge table seemed more than satisfied with their plates. the service was on fire at first and then seemed to die down when in search for napkins and the check and such. our server, however, was very kind and super friendly.

Am I allowed to review this place based on the strength of their bakery counter alone? We stopped after lunch at Il Ritrovo and decided to sample a few treats for dessert. Their version of the French macaron was«just okay» — too large, a tad stale and tasting of artificial flavoring. Their chocolate chip cookies on the other hand, are amazing. They’re the super thin, crunchy kind and after eating part of one I immediately turned back around, went into the store and bought 4 more for later. The lady working said that’s not uncommon. What’s the food like? IDK — does it matter when they have such good cookies?

Recently my wife and I were to Sheboygan on a mid-week business trip. Since my wife had all day seminars, I was free to wander the city. I was hoping to find a unique restaurant for lunch that was not part of a chain. Since Trip Advisor has never led me wrong, I used the ratings to help me select this restaurant. From the outside, the restaurant looks like a older two-story p from the outside, the restaurant looks like a older two-story pub. The first story has a long counter that serves both as a bar and also a quick place to get seating for lunch. On the upper level there is table seating for diners that looks down over the busy street. In addition to food and libations, the restaurant also sells delightful baked treats, breads, and has open access to a natural foods grocery store which is next-door. For lunch, I had their special which was a grilled bison burger serve with their special sauce, topped with slices of avocado on a fresh baked hard roll. My burger was served with house made onion rings. I ordered the burger to be cooked medium and it was served to perfection. Everything tasted incredible and the ambience in the small environment was very pleasant. The portion size was above average as I was unable to finish my complete meal. My server was very knowledgeable about all of the menu items and also was very helpful in explaining their specials of the day. Overall, I had a very pleasant lunch experience and will definitely go there if my travels bring me to Sheboygan again. Pricing was $$ at least.

I’m in Sheboygan on a business trip and the boyfriend, and the rest of Unilocal recommended Field to Fork so I thought I’d give it a try for lunch. Really, this place a probably 4.25 stars, but I’m going to round up because the food was really good. I mean, I’m in Sheboygan for two days and I’m contemplating coming back tomorrow for lunch again. I came here with a co-worker just after noon on Monday. This place was not busy. at all. I’m wondering if that’s just because there is no one in this tiny town. That can’t be the case because the Holiday Inn I’m staying at is completely booked. Anyways, I’m not sure but for how good the food was, this place was surprisingly empty. The restaurant has bar seating, downstairs seating, and a cute upstairs area. Additionally, there’s also a little shop in the back. They do have a rumored parking lot in the back, but there was plenty of street parking. In fact, you should park a block away and then walk off the delicious food you’re about to eat. I ordered the humpty dumpty burger — arugula, bacon, fried egg, avocado, garlic aioli, and my co-worker ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. She might be a bit biased(since she’s from Sheboygan), but she says this is the best grilled chicken sandwich ever. The burger is a little messy. Okay, really messy. Delicious medium-rare beef juices were dripping down my hand as I ravished this burger in seconds. I love the fresh avocado, and as always the runny over-easy egg. It was so good. So the reason why this place only gets 4.25 stars is because of the prices. The food was outstanding, but $ 14 for a burger with no fries is a bit steep in my opinion. I had to order a side of fries because… well, fries. They came out piping hot with what looked like house made ketchup. For $ 3, this is a giant basket of fries. This is definitely something that could be split between multiple people. This is a great lunch spot in the area. Even though it’s a bit on the casual side, the food really does speak for itself and definitely worth a visit if you are in Sheboygan.

Ehh… I used to like you in 2010. The prices have increased and the portions are just dumb. I hate getting a burger with no fries on the side… It just isn’t a meal! Although the menu has expanded, nothing crazy has happened. I’m glad that the walnut burger, the cheesehead, and the bison burger have remained on the menu and are still as good as ever. Some of the new dishes are so pricy I wouldn’t even pay to try them. What I like about Field to Fork is that they do use local ingredients. I totally get that they’re more expensive; but I live in Milwaukee, and farm to table restaurants here still give you fries with your sandwich. The overhead of the location is probably what makes the cost of the food so high. I’m not sure that the prices are worth what you’re getting. It’s still the best lunch location in Sheboygan, but even at its best it’s lacking.

Field to Fork features an ever changing, locally crafted menu that bursts with flavor and nuance. It also shares its roof with an Italian cuisine restaurant, Il Ritrovo, and in the middle of both is a specialty grocery store that features fresh, local grown produce as well as an in house bakery and(local made) specialty cheeses that caters to the type of flavor that both eateries offer! Field to Fork is definitely the type of place to go on that day when you have no where to be. I love this restaurant, from the delicious food to the friendly staff. Because of this, I am willing to wait the extra time between order and the food’s arrival. I also understand that this is not the ideal restaurant for children. Although they do have a kids menu, there are no «free refills» on soda or coloring menus or happy meals or anything that is featured at McDonald’s. Leave the Young tigers at home! Or just don’t go there. Try to use your brains, parents. Please see the attached pictures to have an idea of some of the deliciousness that they are slangin! They have 3 different soups that change on a daily basis, they are usually eclectic and bursting with unexpected flavor. For entrees, I recommend the lamb burger(photoed) or their Cuban sandwich. Also, give the sweet potatoes a try! If you are without children and have empathy and a taste for local art in the form of food, look no further than Field To Fork in Sheboygan.

Wow they have jam like my grandma used to make! Very worth stopping on my way to door county. Businessy-looking people, ladies who lunch, and me with my kiddo all walked away happy. Saw some other complaints about service but none here(and I’m fairly picky). Mine was very friendly with my daughter. I enjoyed window shopping at the little store and would have bought more if I had a cooler. Scored some kale chips that I’ve been loving!

We have been going to Field and Fork since we bought a place in Sheboygan, seven years ago. Wednesday, they finally made me so mad I will never return and this is saying something. For seven years I have put up with their sporadic service, inconsistent preparation of the menu items, increases in price while portion size has shrunk and their customer unfriendly polices(i.e. No Free Refills on soft drinks). We have always made concessions for their problems. When service was so slow, we ate at the counter. Two weeks ago we came for breakfast at 9:30. While we waited for a table we overheard a very loud conversation by the cook, hostess and dining patron. The cook was having a melt down because he had no supplies to cook with. The dining patron kept saying hold all orders don’t give him any more orders and the hostess kept saying what is the problem. After 1 – 2 minutes of this I realized eating here today was not going to happen, so we left. Really. The cook needs to learn to communicate more effectively with the staff. Holding orders is not the answer. Wednesday I drove in from Chicago and called on a carry out order from 43. The order was for a Granola Yogurt Fruit bowl with extra Granola. When I arrived my order was at the grill area. The waitress behind the counter stated we didn’t know how much extra granola you wanted. There is an extra charge. I responded ¼ #. I was in a hurry because I had left my dog in the car who needed to be taken to the bathroom. I thought this was going to be an in out stop. Not at Field and Fork! The phone rang and the waitress stopped waiting on me and began reading out ALL of the specials with a full description. While on the phone she disappeared. When she returned she had forgotten my order entirely. I told her what I had ordered and said I am in a hurry! With that she informed me she forgot to weigh the granola. Again, she left the counter and went into the other restaurant to weigh this little amount of granola! This whole ordeal took over10 minutes. Really! I love their yogurt bowl, and as a fool, I kept going back. No more; the recipe consistency of something this easy has never been there. The cost keeps going up, service down and to charge for a 6 oz. Diet Pepsi with no refills is unheard of. Soft drinks have the most markup in the restaurant business. Shame on You. You need to rethink customer service.

Very nice Italian market and deli. They offer everything from wine to cookware to fresh food from the deli case to frozen food to produce and specialty items. There’s some amazing looking items I’d love to try. You could spend a fortune here in no time at all. The kale salad in the deli case was yummy!
