Can’t say enough good things about Dave’s work. I lost the transmission in my ’76 VW Westphalia camper just outside Sheboygan and found a ’75 to replace it. Dave had to fit it into his packed schedule and go through 3 starters before he found one that fit (five-​rib transmission in a six-​rib slot). Got it back in nine days (he also fixed a leaking seal) and it’s still running great. Thanks Dave. So rare to find an expert on these babies. Go out of your way to get him to work on your foreign car.
