We hired Wayne to paint the exterior trim on our house and repair or replace some pieces. Not only did he show up sporadically and fall way behind, causing us not to be able to put our house on the market on time, but his work was only slightly less atrocious than his attitude. For example, he painted several functional windows shut, and then acted like we were at fault for not telling him they were functional before he painted them shut. He refused to fix them. He also got caulk all over our brick and missed large spots while painting. He became belligerent when asked to fix these issues and eventually walked off the job because our realtor asked him to get the work completed by a certain date, which was already nearly two weeks past the original deadline. He is currently refusing to refund our deposit, despite the fact that he quit the job, not to mention that he was doing horrible work in the first place.
