In my spare time, I run a small business from my home selling camera equipment online. Over the past year or so, this business has largely taken over my garage and family room. The clutter was really starting to bother me. However, getting a handle on my problem rooms seemed too daunting a task. I looked at everything, and saw what could easily be a full week’s worth of work. I had been curious about hiring an organizing professional to come help, but I was highly skeptical. After all, shouldn’t that be something I should be able to just do for myself? After getting to know owner, and organizer extraordinaire Eliza, I quickly saw the value she offered. While I might have eventually taken care of my organizational needs on my own, she was a driving force to actually make it happen. It is no longer something I am putting off and letting bother me. It’s now done, and out of the way. I can move forward with my life, be more productive, and have one less thing hanging over me to get done. That’s a great value in my mind. Eliza was a joy to work with. She treated the whole process in such a professional manner. She emailed me with her policies and procedures well in advance of our session, helping me to properly prepare, and allowing me to know what to expect. On the day of our organizing session, she showed up on time, and ready to work! With Eliza working beside me, we were able to take care of both of my problem rooms in a single day. She helped me to get everything condensed and organized. We also jettisoned a great deal of trash, recycled what we could, and made several trips to donate items to charity. She planned out a system of labeled containers to help me stay organized and keep things out of my way. She helped me to reclaim a large chunk of my house. Best of all, my wife and son can now use the living room again! Yay! Bottom line, I was very pleased with Eliza and Simplicana. Highly recommended!

Last year I moved into an apartment that came with a bed bug infestation. I had to move a second time very rapidly and without any planning. Eliza was instrumental in helping me get my life reorganized again. Can I take stars away!?! I spoke with the owner~Eliza or Elena? Anyway she kept telling me she was traveling all over the world and moving by the holidays. She said she would fit me in for 3 or 4 days… She was going to Italy and was supposed to call me. NEVERHEARDFROMHERAGAIN! Shameful service! March 25,2013: Just received a call from Eliza this w/e asking me to remove my review as it will damage her business. I stand by my review. She in her rebuttal, refers to emails… she forgets conveniently about the many phone messages I left for her to please call me in to arrange a few days between her trips and move. I did not receive responses to my calls. I did receive one email(which, Eliza are personal, like regular mail), the email suggested one date she could«give» me. GIVEME, SERIOUSLY? This person left me feeling unimportant as a customer, as if I was bothering her and interrupting her schedule. I stand by my original review. The fact that she finally found time to call me only when she read my review~which has been up for months~only reinforces my experience and my review. Hopefully for her business’ sake, she will be more professional and accountable to her potential clients in Kansas.

Honestly, the best investment I’ve ever made. I’ve used Eliza 3x. The first was after a cross country move where I had her come in and help us unpack, sort and organize. I thought that was great(and a luxury) but it was nothing compared to having her come in and help me de-clutter and purge my home office and garage. It’s hard, hard, hard work but she’s funny, works non-stop and really makes you think about what you are keeping and why. She truly enjoys her job. I found her affordable and once I got over the dread of the task, I was left tired but with a whipped into shape office and garage. One of my best craigslist finds ever!
