Sheridan’s Lattes & Frozen Custard

Stopped here with wife and grandson. I got an ice cream cone, wife hot fudge sundae and grandson got a dirt worm sundae. It was about midday and we went thru the drive thru. Everything was good, Sheridan’s is never a let down. The only thing I would comment on negatively, and I’m sure this is something they can fix is the paper my car was wrapped in, the paper sticks to the cone and you have to spend some time picking it off or just give up and eat it, or toss it, neither of which hurts much.
Drive thru was fast, staff friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Why is this place always understaffed???
How long can it take to get a drive thru yogurt. Ridiculous and never changes.

After spending 1 hour at a doctors appointment I thought going to Sheridan’s would be a good pick me up. It was a weekday afternoon. Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. Due to time constraints I chose the Drive-​Thru (no one else was at the Drive-​Thru). I placed an order for a sundae and a custom chocolate custard with chocolate chip concrete. A young man took my payment, and delivered my custard. I asked for napkins (shouldn’t you get napkins automatically at a drive-​thru?) and then drove off. A few minutes into our drive home my sister realized her chocolate chip concrete had no chocolate chips. (We spent $ 4.25 for a cup of chocolate custard) We called the number on our receipt– no one answered, so we left a voicemail to voice our dissatisfaction. After no one returned my call a few hours later I went to Sheridan’s website to contact them. It’s now been 3 days with no response from the company :(
I feel like my business/​satisfaction is not valued.
I will go to Culvers, Baskin Robins, or a froyo place next time!

We went there today after our lunch and shopping trip on our way back home, and we must of waited in the drive through for 10 minutes before they took our order, and then another 15 almost to get our order. They must desperately need to hire more employees! We love Sheridan’s but that was ridiculous!

Why do I have to beg for a lid if I’m going through the drive thru? That drives me crazy every time.
I like Sheridan’s, but I feel like their prices are way too high. I don’t go there often because of this.

service is a little slow, but my goodness this place is SO GOOD!!! it satisfies ALL cravings for ALL types of people in ANY type of «ice cream mood!!»

Drive thru is very slow, as with all Sheridan’s, but the custard is flawless, as well as the mix-​in ingredients. It’s thick and creamy ice cream, just the way I like it. Me and my husband have tried just about everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. I dropped them to 4 stars because it’s overpriced, and the drive-​thru is ridiculously slow at times, as well as sometimes the concretes aren’t mixed hardly at all, but don’t let that stop you from treating!

Love eating there Mango Dango and Banana split ice cream… The best custard ice cream around.

This place definitely has fewer lines than the one on 119^th which is nice. Other than that, it’s a typical Sheridan’s. My fav by far is the buckaroo. They used to have a blended strawberry lemonade that was remarkably refreshing but I don’t know if it’s a seasonal thing or what but please bring it back!

I was intrigued by some of the flavors of concretes that were offered. In particular, the wedding cake… so I forked over the extra money, and ordered one. I wouldn’t recommend this one to you… the first few bites are fine, but on a hot day, melting frozen custard absorbs quickly into pieces of cake and makes an absolute soggy mess in the cup. After the cake has soaked up it is not appealling at all. So don’t be lured to the extra money and stick with the more traditional add ons. The custard itself is refreshing and light… just didn’t like my choice of dress up materials.

Okay, this Sheridan’s gets 4 stars instead of 3 because it never has a line. The one by my house has a good 15 minute wait at all times. Very annoying. While it is hard to go wrong with frozen custard. It does happen. They only way I can enjoy frozen custard at Sheridan’s is if I get a cone. Any hot toppings and it melts instantly.
