Time to update the review, sadly.
The *only* reason there are 2 stars on the review is because the service was 4-​star. I almost feel bad for the employees having to answer «no, we don’t have that» or «we only have it in a larger/​smaller size» to so many questions. But they greeted me right away, tried to help me out, and told me to have a good day when I left.
Some of the most popular items/​sizes around aren’t available (Bailey’s Irish Cream, 360 Vodka, etc), yet I can go across the street to the BP Liquor store and their tiny store has it.
This is no longer my go-​to liquor store.

I quit going to Jack’s a while back because the service was so bad, BUT that has changed. It is under new management, and I do frequent this place again.
It’s so convenient, right off SMP and Plumm. The prices are in accordance with everyone else, including Rhyno’s at 75th and Quivira (great guys and buys there!), and Gomers on 87th (awesome liquor store).
I told the guys at Jacks I’d Unilocal ‘em, as they are trying to put it back on the map, with friendly service and help when ya need it!
With wine tasting some nights, always a pleasure.
Thanks guys! You rock!

Used to visit here when I lived in good ol’ Kansas City, MO (home away from home and all that) — great beer selection FTW!
I’ve heard from oenophiles that the wines are no slouch either but as a certifiable Midwestern lets-​drink-​budweiser-​first kinda guy I can’t vouch for the vino.
