D & S Salon

For years, I went to the chain across the street because of one stylist: Moon. Imagine my horror when she told me she was leaving! But it soon turned to glee when she said she was moving across the street to D & S Salon. Come to find out, many of the best stylists have moved here! I finally went for a trim, and I love this place! It makes me feel much more comfortable and pampered. For one thing, it is spacious and decorated. Also, the temperature is comfortable. They provide coffee/​drinks and comfy couches while you wait! Prices are the same you might pay at the chain establishment. While you are welcome to make an appointment, they also take walk-​ins. And, while I am not a super fan of little kids, they must get haircuts, too, and I noticed a very cool race car kids’ station, so bring the toddlers!

What a happy find this was! I was heading to Lenexa for a haircut and was feeling lazy. It was Sunday afternoon, so I was surprised to see this place open. I stopped in and they were not busy. Soon was very friendly and really understood how I wanted my hair. All this and it only cost $ 14. No more stressing about haircuts, I’ll just come here.
