Generic atmosphere, service, & all, but the food was very good. Definitely a place to come back to, but not on like a date or anything.

I had the three meat combo with beans, green beans, and slaw.
The thinly sliced lean beef had a dainty smoke ring, wasn’t juicy, and came with sauce on top. Nothing special here.
The ribs were pretty good– well cooked, pulled off easily, and had a nice rub.
The sausage was spicey and awesome.
The beans were plain– needed a bit of ham maybe. Slaw average, and crisp. Green beans were good, but mushy.

I have only been here once but the food was good. Very quality bbq. The locals swear by this place and say everything on the menu is great so it is definitely worth a try if you are in town.

I’ve been eating here since I was a kid in the 70’s. I love the BBQ, but more importantly I love the way they take care of customer’s. It’s great food and service at it’s best. If I don’t eat there at least once a week, it’s not a good week.

Anyone who thinks this is good BBQ needs to get out more often. This is VERY mediocre. Don’t waste your time or money on this overpriced crap.

Ahhhh What can I say. I grew up in Shawnee and moved to California in 1987. I return at least once a year to visit family. I always make the trip to Billy Boy. It is the best I have had in the country. Vans is good too, but As I said; «Ahhhhhh Billy Boy»

One of my all time favorites. Great Bar-​B-​Que, burgers, salads, and pies that will melt in your mouth. Great catering also. I’ve been a customer since they first opened.
