Our party of six which included two kids enjoyed our trip to the cotton patch. Our food was perfect except for the lobster special. That piece of lobster was rubbery and overdone. The salad bar was in good shape. As for drinks, we were properly served at the bar. However, once at our table we were never asked if we wanted a new drink. Our glasses were left empty. Our server was a nice lady but we waited too long for our bill to be received and then processed. We will be back but I recommend that they have more than one waitress at 7 pm on a Saturday night before Easter. Lots of large groups. We really enjoyed the view.

Good service at the bar. Salad bad was not stocked at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. Some items looked pretty reused. Food was ok. Side were forgotten, but arrived shortly after. Waitress seemed to be stopping and checking on us just after smoke breaks…

Four of us went to the Cotton Patch for a few drinks and to listen to live music. This part of the night was great. We decided to stay for dinner and that is when things went south. We had requested a certain table because it was located near the music. The hostess said that was no problem and they would have the table ready in a few minutes. The table was reset and then promptly given to another couple. The hostess apologized and offered us a different table which we accept but we should have taken note of the first miscue. After waiting a very long time for a server to arrive she promptly dumped a glass of water and ice down the front of my wife, accidents happen. My wife toughed it out and we went on with dinner. The spilled glass of water was placed on the table but never refilled. No one ever cleaned up the pool of water alongside our table. The salad bar is not included with the steak dinner but they threw it in because of the wait we endured. It was 7:00PM and the salad bar already had slim pickings. There was a half a cup of soup left in the pot so we informed the server. The soup pot was never refilled during the entire meal. My salad was not bad, I did skip over the cucumbers that looked slimy. My wife and a friend both had the cottage cheese which they could not eat because it was so sour. They did let the help know and we did see them pull it from the salad bar. Luckily no one got sick. The tenderloin was cooked as requested but was extremely salty. The shrimp and vegetables were straight out of the freezer section of the grocery store and the vegetables were cool to lukewarm at best. I really like to support the local businesses but I just can’t recommend this place for the food. The bar is great and the music enjoyable. There needs to be a lot of work done to improve the service and quality of food.

We were excited to see the Cotton Patch reopen as we did frequent there since moving to the area. Food was decent & atmosphere was nice. We have been back twice in the last several months with poor results. Besides being very pricy the food was mediocre at best. The salad bar was very unappealing as it was unattended by the staff. The lettuce was soggy & wilted. The cold salads were brown on the top. The floors were also dirty. We had a party of 6& the only decent entrée was the baked haddock. Usually we enjoy a window seat but the view of the run down grounds was less than desirable. Sorry we gave it a second chance but will not return…

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice dinner out at a classic Wisconsin supper club. Some locals gave it mixed reviews but we went with an open mind. The hostess told us a big party just left so there would be a 20 minute wait. She did not ask our name and told us to wait at the bar. The hostess and bartender were not friendly or welcoming. We ended up waiting over 40 minutes. We finally asked the hostess about our table. She must have forgotten about us because she proceeded to seat us right away and did not appear to acknowledge that we were waiting. The waitress was even worse. She did not offer us water, bread, or tell us the specials. We waited another 30 – 40 minutes for our food and the waitress did not come by once to check on us. The food was actually good, my wife ordered a well prepared medium rare tenderloin and I had a decent chicken parmesan pasta dish. We did notice another older waitress that was much more attentive, so our experience may have been better if we had another waitress. The view was also quite nice. With the extremely poor service(hostess, waitress, bartender), I probably won’t be back and I can’t recommend this place.

We stopped here for a fish fry in May 2015. We came in around 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. So the salad bar was mostly empty. Pretty much everyone ordered fish. Some ordered the beer battered cod and some ordered perch. The cod was passable. The perch was breaded in a different way than I’m used to so I didn’t care for it. Service however was good. I have no complaints. I’d like to try it again at some point but getting there a bit earlier to get the full experience. Also, though the current owners had nothing to do with it, I’m a bit sad that the deer feeding area is gone. However the property looks great.

Awful food and awful service. Waited flat out told us he was too hungover to slit our bill and when my friend asked to order another drink he replied«how classy of you» in a sarcastic voice. Needless to say, any friends and family that visit me at my new cabin won’t be coming here with me! We will be going elsewhere!

My family goes here for brunch on Sundays. I like the fireplace, it’s nice to sit near when coming in from the cold. The brunch is family style breakfast with some buffet items. My favorite part of brunch is the salad bar and pancakes. the bacon is not fully cooked. I also liked the hash browns. If it gets cool in the restaurant you cane go by the fire.

The Cotton Patch is a classic Wisconsin supper club throwback. The bar makes an excellent brandy old fashioned with a hand muddled mix rather than a premixed syrup. The ambiance near the bar includes a warm gas fireplace sure to warm you on those cold evenings. The pre-dinner salad bar is well stocked and has included two soups during each of my visits. The steak bow tie soup in particular is plentiful in steak pieces and we’ll flavored. For evening entrees I’ve thus far only had the ribeye which has been a nice cut of meat. While I’ve had more flavorful steaks, the steak is of good quality especially in relation to the moderate price. On Sundays there is a very reasonably priced complete brunch offering. You certainly will not leave hungry. The breakfast portion of your brunch(scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes & a potato) is made to order and brought right to your table. The same is said for the fried chicken which is crispy but I found could use a little more flavor. The buffet items are plentiful for a brunch setting. Having recently opened it seems they are still tweaking the brunch offerings. The restaurant offers plenty of windows overlooking a small pond. There are small buildings/sheds near the pond that may have housed small animals at one time. As it is now the view is more of an eyesore than attraction. There appears to be great potential to do something great especially with the pond. I will presume that because it’s still winter and the establishment only recently reopened that the owners will update the property in Spring The servers are friendly enough but still learning it seems. On one visit I had to ask for our bread basket and offers to refill drinks have been sporadic. All in all a worthy experience. Very reasonably priced and good food for that price. Did I mention the excellent old fashioneds?
