Shaver Stables

I called to ask about available times and schedule a ride for my fam particularly my daughter who absolutely loves horses and couldn’t wait to go! I had ONLY one request, my daughter really wanted to ride a dark colored horse she seen on shaver stables website. The women who answered the phone was extremely rude, she informed me she was Not going to accommodate my daughter’s request, she doesn’t have that horse, and we should go somewhere else. I am astonished this is by far the worst customer service.

We took our kids here for their first time and we had a terrific time. $ 38 per person for an hour. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t think I was going to be able to get up on the horse and they told me not to worry that they would get me up. They weren’t lying they got me on that horse with ease. Needless to say it was a beautiful ride and one that we will do again!

The grandparents bought their granddaughters horseback rides from this stable as a birthday gift, so we redeemed said gift Saturday morning. Shaver Stable offers five one-​hour rides and three two-​hour rides daily. The stables were clean, the horses were in good condition, and the staff were professional and kind to the children. One of the granddaughters really, really wanted to ride a particular horse, and even though he wasn’t scheduled to be one of the mounts for our session, the guide made sure she got to ride him.
The ride lasted a full 60 minutes and offered a nice meander around Shaver Lake. There were two guids on our ride to make sure everything went smoothly.
We’d go back if the opportunity presented itself.
