This was a disappointing visit in terms of service. We never tasted the food. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated right away. She brought us coffee and we settled in to look at the menu. We took a lon time to choose… but no server came to check on us. It was about 25 minutes before we saw our server. Another 25 minutes later, our server stopped by again, apologized for the wait, said our food was on its way, that they’d just gotten slammed, and promised us that she would not disappoint. The thing was, when we arrived, the place was half empty — had they taken our order BEFORE they were slammed, we would have been on our way out by then. A table seated after us left, and we were still waiting for our food. Then the table next to ours sent back their food because it was cold — and they placed their order about 10 minutes after we did. We still waited another 10 minutes, then left a $ 5 for the coffee and headed out. That’s 25 minutes of waiting to place an order, and 50 minutes of waiting for food. I really wanted to try the food. It looks delicious. We went to Waffle House and had food within 15 minutes. Not an omelet filled with veggies, but at least I wasn’t hungry.

Slow Service & Mediocre Food: My wife and I tried SM’s for a late breakfast on President’s Day for our first — and my last — visit, although my wife said it was«not bad». The restaurant had a very small number of occupied tables at 10:30am and three servers, so I saw no reason for such slow service. The server was friendly, just not attentive. I had the Zesty Smokehouse Sandwich($ 7.29) with Hashbrowns plus a Pancake on the side($ 2.99). The food was mediocre at best, but might have been better had it been served hot instead of warm. My wife had Rocky Top Toast($ 7.49) which was of the same general quality as my breakfast. Add a cup of overly sweet, lukewarm Hot Chocolate($ 2.99) and the meal came to $ 21.57 before tip. Yes, the menu has more variety than most other breakfast spots and, yes, the portion sizes were generous, but it doesn’t make a difference if the service is slow and the food quality is below average.

Wonderful! I had the turkey club wrap and my husband had an omelette. Food and coffee were great. Service was excellent. We will surely go back! The portions were huge. Convenient location. They even gave us coupons for a few dollars off the next time we go back.

I thoroughly enjoy every chance I get to go to Scrambler Marie’s! I almost always get the Toast of France and consider it one of the best French toast options in the area! Best time for a visit is usually after one, the lunch rush is over and you can take your time and enjoy yourself. Clean facility, with friendly service and great food. They even have an app now to check the menu and whatnot from.

Great service, but my breakfast wasn’t all that great for 11 dollars. Got one of the breakfast skillet meals. The potatoes in it were deep fried and tough. The cheese was kind of separated from everything else and not melted over the other ingredients like it should have been. There wasn’t alot of meat in it either. If I go back I’ll just get a normal bacon and eggs.

Had breakfast today Thanksgiving morning and if not for the bad coffee, we would have given this restaurant 4 stars. Food quality and service were good but the coffee was not to either of our liking. Both my wife and I had mini servings and I still did not eat all that was served.

Quick service, good prices, and unlimited breakfast portions! What’s not to love? I walked to scrambler maries from the hotel across the street not knowing what to expect and I came out extremely satisfied with my decision to go there instead of McDonald’s.

How have I not known about this place until now? And I love pancakes! Came for a Sunday brunch and ordered the spinach/portabello omelette with a pancake as the side. The omelette was a perfect size(4 eggs) with a excellent egg/mushroom/spinach ratio in that there was some spinach and mushroom in every bite. Much better than other breakfast places that give 1 leaf and 1 mushroom stem and call it a gourmet omelette. The omelette had quite a bit of cheese on it so next time, I’ll ask them to not add the cheese or maybe reduce it by half. But the omelette was still quite good. The hash browns were fantastic. I actually had ordered the potatoes but got the hash browns. Whatever, they were surprisingly tasty so that was a happy accident. And then there was the pancake side where you can substitute the bread for a pancake for a little extra. That was an excellent choice. The pancake is super fluffy and when combined with the butter/syrup is as good as the best pancake that I’ve ever had. The service was a little spotty. Our server took the order promptly but forgot to bring milk for my wife(she had to ask 3 times) and then they mixed up where the orders went. Not huge deals but it was noticeable. All in all, I’d definitely come back to have more pancakes and to try more omelettes. The menu is so humongous that it would probably take me 5 years to go thru menu if I went every sunday. Maybe I’d have to switch off pancakes to french toast so that I wouldn’t get sick of it. ..

We had a very nice Sunday brunch with a guest. Great to have another breakfast option in our area. Loved the honey wheat toast and the colorful plates!

Huge Menu… a little overwhelming to be honest. They were out of the one thing that super caught my eye but not a big deal. Substitutions are easy and all the food was delish! Portion sizes were crazy big! Coffee was also excellent.

Great service and food. Considering the amount of food my family orders the price was inexpensive but was fresh and reminded me of home cooking. I would definitely recommend anyone stop here for a hearty breakfast.

Waited 80 minutes for pancakes and an omelet. At one point asked waitress how long it was going to take, got a vague answer. Yes the place was hopping but this isn’t a steakhouse… Eggs and cakes aren’t that hard to sling. Awful service and heat lamped food… The potato«chunks» could’ve been used to landscape your lawn. Honestly why is ANYTHING sitting under lamps when things are so busy?

Very friendly staff, but the food is really not okay. I’ve been here a few times, enough to know not to come back for good. The Eggs Benedict is what I ordered, which is meh, and the biscuits are what really turned me off — stale, flavorless, not at all like biscuits. I wouldn’t waste your money here unless you really can’t tell the difference between good/bad food. Now I just go to Bob Evans.

Great breakfast place. Quiche was delicious, I usually don’t like the crust but the pot pie crust they used was a good compliment to the cheese and hollandaise. Quality food.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict meal and it was awesome!!! They made their hollandaise sauce just like my mom makes. FRESH! Not like the powdered stuff you add water too… yuck. Staff was outstanding and very courteous. Was our first time here and will be back for other meals off the menu. ;-) P. S. Coffee was great also ;-)

Chain Alert! It’s another chain, but one you haven’t heard of… like Show-me’s. Not much discernable difference from this place and other breakfast-like places. Think Denny’s, Perkins, or Bob Evans, but a little less exciting. There was nothing on the menu that really caught my eye as being uniquely Scrambler Marie’s. Portion sizes are BIG. If you’re not a Sumo Wrestler, they might just be too big. I got a «Mini» Classic, two plate-sized pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, and some bacon. Mid-day price was about $ 6. It was too much food and I couldn’t finish. I liked the mid-day pricing. Saved me a little bit of money. Marie’s was not very expensive. The bacon tasted like it was about to turn. It was actually the worst bacon I’ve ever had. The eggs were nothing special. The pancakes were dry. I could not finish them. The highlight of the meal was the hashbrowns. They were quite tasty. The service was very prompt and friendly. The location is kind of bizarre, despite what other posters have noted. This sits in an old Perkins on a dead end strip off of 42 with almost nothing else around it. You could easily miss it driving up and down 42 all day. I honestly could not see this place lasting very long, but perhaps they do great business on the weekends like Bob Evans does. However, I’d have to say the food at Bob Evans is vastly superior and the atmosphere is a more existant. I would try Marie’s again, maybe I ordered the wrong thing.
