The bathrooms were so gross we drove down the street to use a restroom. Also you were so close to your neighbors there was no privacy. We will never go back.

One single star for one simple reason. Whoever cleans the bathroom is an artist. An artist at making what was a clean and nice bathroom into a wet, slimy, foul smelling, sticky disaster.
Apparently, no actually — they use a firehose to clean out the bathroom and let it drain through several holes in the side of the building. Just blasting the crap off the floor and onto the toilets and walls is no way to clean a bathroom. And — doing cleaning at 7:00 or 8:00 am!!! Who do you think uses the bathrooms at that time? The CAMPERS STUPID!
Lastly, the $ 5.00 dollar bundles of wood. You pay five bucks for 3 – 4 chunks of dirty, thin wood that lasts for about five minutes. The bathroom was absolutely horrific.

Although we have been to Macedonia State park which is much better and close by we liked the fact that this place had a river tubing outfitters really close by. It’s not very big as far as campsites go and your a bit to close to the next camper. It’s also right on the main road so you hear the traffic of trucks all day and night. Ehhh it is what it is.

This is a decent place. It has the river flowing besides which you have camping grounds and picnic area. It has a huge grass area for kids and dogs to play. If you are into boating, the river is a fun place. The view of the mountains from the river is very good.
This place is near to Kent Falls and Macedonia Brook State park. You can visit all these places in a single long summer day trip.
