Last weekend my partner and I went to the Spring House Spa for a pre-wedding facial and massage. OMG — is all I can say!!! We felt AMAZING, and will become regular customers. Sharon Springs is also fun place to visit before/and or after a massage!

Loved our massages and our history lesson! We came here on a whim — our hotel advertised the spa and we wanted massages while on vacation in upstate New York. We were plesantly surprised with the hospitality of Craig and Cheryl. Our 90 minute massages were amazing and neither of us wanted them to end. Definitely worth the money and time to come visit Sharon Springs. The history is interesting and we had a wonderful experience. Cheryl even gave us an amazing dinner recommendation! First class service :) We highly recommend this place.

At first glance you can tell that this spa is Class. Cheryle(the owner) has put a lot of detail into her place and it shows. Her love for the history of Spring Hill and the healing benefits that its springs once brought to the people of the Cat Skill’s is evident. From the start i could tell Cheryle has passion for this business :)! She is very knowledgable and proficient at her job and helped to release my muscles and alleviate my shoulder pain. I am a massage therapist myself and quite picky about my body work. If I lived closer I would frequent this massage table. I also received a lovely facial. The products she uses are top of the line! They smell and feel amazing. My skin was glowing for days and two weeks later people are still saying how great my skin looks, no lie. Book your appointment now, you won’t be sorry.

My massages there were really good, especially the hot stone massage I had with Cheryl. She was absolutely wonderful! I was having issues with my back and quads and she took the time to talk to me about how it was troubling me, and then she told me what she was doing and why throughout the massage and made sure to keep checking with me to see how the stones and massage were affecting my problem areas. Cheryl is a real pro and I highly recommend her!

This is a lovely oasis in the charming and rustic Sharon Springs downtown. A welcoming home on the main street houses an equally welcoming staff. Be sure to take time to get a guided tour of the historic spa gallery, and get it from Craig who’s as passionate about town history as he is about the ingredients in their high-end(and often high-priced) products. Big city treatments and surroundings in a little town location.

I got a deep tissue massage last week and it was really, really great. Most of the time, my back and shoulders get very tight, and it is hard to relax them. Cheryl was able to provide the pressure that almost hurts, in a good way, if you know what I mean. The entire experience is first class, with explanations of everything before it is done, and every detail taken care of to allow for a complete relaxation. I enjoyed it very much and am going back again next week. You will be amazed at how good you feel afterwards, and it does last for several days… Highly recommended.

Spring House Spa is a beautiful oasis located in the quaint town of Sharon Springs, NY. I had a wonderful 90 minute deep tissue massage with the owner, Cheryl. It was 90 minutes of sheer bliss! You know it’s a great massage when your body doesn’t want to leave the table! I wish I would’ve made an appointment earlier in the summer!

I had the pleasure of visiting Sharon Springs the first weekend of November 2011, and thanks to the amazing folks at the Spring House Spa it was both relaxing and energizing! Simply put, I had an incredible deep-tissue massage, and the best facial of my life! I have been to several high-end spas in New York and one in Paris, so I speak from experience. The Spa itself is brand new – the treatment rooms are modern, but the reception and waiting area have a very comfortable, small-town feel. Everyone was friendly and made me feel right at home. Cheryl Rosen(who owns the Spa with her delightful husband Craig) helped me with my facial, and she was both skillful and informative. Without overdoing it, she told me a little about each step, the type of products she was using, and what to expect. Her touch was confident and soothing. What’s more, the few times I was«under the steam», she used that as an opportunity to massage my feet, neck, or shoulders. There was no idle time and she was working on me the entire session. When our time was up, I was veeeeery relaxed and my skin truly felt energized. It was heavenly, people! Paulina was my massage therapist and she did a great job. I had filled out a short information sheet, and she asked about my «trouble spots» before she began. Her 90-minute massage was just the right strength and extremely enjoyable. She was friendly, but not too chatty, and had a very positive attitude. Her skill was evident and when we were done, I floated down the street in complete relaxation, a big smile on my face. Craig gave me and some other guests an interesting and informative tour of the Spa’s gallery, which shows photographs from the 1800s and early 1900s, and told of the rich history of therapeutic spas in Sharon Springs. Thank you Cheryl, Craig, and Paulina for making my weekend in Sharon Springs relaxing and fun! I will be back!
