For the restaurant only: A lovely spot for a dinner date with spouse, baby, and dog. Excellent food and service. Nice owner, friendly barkeep, good waitresses. We got outdoor seating for dinner in early August, bringing our baby and dog(both were very welcome!) on a Saturday evening. The view was a mountain in the distance; pleasant, simple. For dinner we had one of each appetizer(except empanada), and all were VERY good, particularly the sauces, but one stood out: The French Onion Soup — It was to die for. Maybe the best my french onion soup loving wife has ever had. Every soup ingredient stood out, there was a generous crust of cheese, and soooo fresh. The markup on the wine was minimal. All the prices were fair for the quality. We had a great time. They invited us to share their fire pit. The customers going in and out of the restaurant/bar were all friendly to us, the baby, and the dog. Dog got a water bowl, baby enjoyed bites of our meal in between running all over the place(such is life on the road without a babysitter). We weren’t rushed, and felt very much at home. Nice bathrooms! We’ll be back next year.

I’ve only eaten at their restaurant and bar, so I cannot comment on their hotel per se. However, the food and restaurant service are excellent. I very much recommend having dinner here.

Sorry to say that it was not up to my expectations. Such a shame. Very nice owners. The inn was not in the best of shape and A few to many bugs. But the restaurant was beautiful. Nice built on pool

We spent our ski vacation here. The rooms were large and clean. The small kitchen was a savior coming off the mountain. The restaurant is nice, specially if you stick to the basics. the lack of internet or phone was problematic trying to communicate to the rest of the world, but on the other hand … sometimes it is good to be off the grid. We will be back.

Where do the friendliest and cutest bugs go to die? The Catskill Seasons Inn — literally. The last night we woke up, the floor by the windows was lined with dead ladybugs and flies. They probably came in through the ceiling crack. Let me start from the beginning. Based on all the positive TripAdvisor reviews, I booked the Catskill Seasons Inn for a romantic getaway with my fiancé for President’s Day weekend. We even made a reservation at their dining room since the other reviewers highly recommended it and even compared it to Manhattan restaurants. And the reasonable price of $ 100/queen-sized bedroom price sold us. We got Room #24 and immediately, we could hear the kids in the room above us running and screaming all night long. I could also hear every word of Hannah Montana blasting from the room immediately adjacent to ours. The walls and ceilings are paper thin and make for anything but a romantic setting. And while being away from the hustle and bustle of the city was certainly relaxing, being cut off from all communication was extremely frustrating. There was no cell phone reception, which was fine — we’re in the mountains, we didn’t expect it – but there wasn’t even a telephone inside the room for emergencies. The second night we ate at the Inn dining room, and the service was exasperatingly slow, and the food was mediocre at best. Comparing it to a Manhattan restaurant is laughable because it was nothing but typical American fare with the basic steak, chicken and fish. You couldn’t even order the burger in their dining room. We skipped dessert so we could get out of there faster. The next morning, we woke up to the screaming and jumping kids upstairs and the crying kid next door. We literally raced out of there after we saw the dead bugs by the windows. We kept saying we shouldn’t expect that much for $ 100/night, but with dead bugs, we think we got the raw end of the deal. We’ll never go back to Catskill Seasons Inn, and wouldn’t recommend it for anyone young on a romantic getaway. If you have kids and want to let them scream as loud of possible, this may be the place for you.
