For something different a short review of Shakopee Transmission.
Kate needed her breaks done on her car.
Even though I told her months earlier to have them fixed she let it go too long and now needed major work done. So off to Midas, and got an estimate of $ 2500. Really! Her car wasn’t even worth that much. So I asked a co-​worker and Shakopee Transmission was suggested. He said he has been going to there for years. (Thanks Mike!)
Finding his shop isn’t the easiest and it’s not new and fancy. It’s a mechanics shop, basically 2 guys and a shop. So with his estimate of $ 800 it was game on. When we told him what she was quoted, he said, «People like that give us a bad name.
