I don’t know why people speak poorly of this place. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was polite and my stay was fine. My only gripe is the shower head at 5’5″. That bugs me, but the price was right and there were no sirens. That’s a huge plus.

This hotel was the noisiest we have stayed at in long time. The building is constructed such that it sounds like people are running down the halls when, in fact, they are just walking normally. I frequently thought people we yelling in the hallway but when I poked my head out the door, I determined they were taking in normal conversational tones. Other noises came from the fan in the bathroom, which was loud with a pronounced rattle, and the refrigerator. The refrigerator compressor ran at least four times during the night of our stay, each time starting with a loud gurgling noise and continuing with a strained groaning. Perhaps it is due to its proximity to Mystic Lake Casino but there were people coming and going all night long. The residents in the adjacent unit hit the sack at 4AM. Prior to that, another couple retired at 3:30AM. Others came in midnight, 1AM, and 2AM. The only positive aspect, if you can call it positive, is that the fan on the heating/AC unit was so loud that when it kicked on you could hear nothing except the fan.
