The vast majority of items on the shelves are past their expiration date. I ended up leaving this store after seeing the expiration date on the lemonade, even the lemonade was 2-​months past the expiration. How do they not notice this???
If you plan on buying more than Twinkies, make the drive to Hinckley or Dekalb.

Make sure you read the label on everything! 70% or more of the items are outdated. Even meat. They have a butcher shop there but unless you see him cut it… Don’t buy it.
And when you DO buy something outdated, like cheese, and return it, they turn their noses up at you.
One star for all the alcohol they have. Good selection. Way over priced. I mean even a pair of nail clippers can cost $ 8. Or a hair brush $ 10.
I recently bought cereal there, obviously I checked the date. It was fine this time, but when I got it home I realized the box had been opened… And then taped back… Not good. I returned it. And now, I’ve just given up. Not worth my two minute walk. I would rather drive 30 minutes to get fresh food then that old, smelly, rotten stuff any day.

I have been here a few times. Love the Hometown flavor. The homemade deli salads are wonderful. Shop here prior to fishing for a quick grab of sandwich fixins and sides.
