Grout King

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! If I could give 0 stars I would!!! They redid the grout in my inlaws bathroom and it looks like a 5year old did it. It is so messy and they scratched up the existing tile horribly. When called on their terrible job they just offered to minus the cost of the grout work if my inlaws decided to pay to redo the whole shower. WHAT?! Unfortunately my inlaws paid for this mess but do yourself a favor and hire someone else! Or do it yourself! It would look better than what these «professionals» did!

Looked like they did a good job then I noticed some gaps between the tiles and the base of the shower. I called them multiple times with no response. Almost ten days I still haven’t use our shower and I probably end up fixing it myself. You been warned.

The owner Lewis and his helper did a real nice job refreshing my 2 tile bathrooms and slate foyer. The steam cleaning made me happy that nothing was being trapped under the new layer of grout. They were on time for their appointment and Maryann set it all up nicely. If I were to do it again, I would ask for a standard grout color available at any store such as Lowes. I did not realize that a few tiles were unstable due to issues with the sub-​flooring and some grout cracked up, which they were nice enough to correct later. I would ask them to let you know if any of your tile has that concern-​they can tell by tapping on it and listening for a hollow sound or movement of the tile. I recommend them with that stipulation. Clean, professional, hard working, — nice family business.

DO NOT USE OR CALL GROUT KING! We had a scheduled appointment and they never showed up. They said they didn’t have us in the book. We scheduled the appointment three weeks ago, after they came out to give us an estimate. They offered to come out two days later. The morning of, they emailed me and said they didn’t get the color grout in. We ordered WHITE! They never once called me to apologize for either issues. Just an email saying sorry. I would not recommend them at all!

I hired Grout King to in Fall of 2010 to repair and clean the grout and a few broken ceramic tiles in the bathroom of a house I had just purchased,… they also applied a color to the grout to give it a consistent look. The results were very impressive and I will likely use them again in my next bathroom.
