We were put in room 100. The sheet didn’t fit the bed, sheet was stained, blood stain on other bed sheet, mystery liquid on the wall, cable wall connection not secure in wall, prescription pill on floor, no one vacuumed along walls and beds, bathroom needed a bit of extra tlc. Old so normal type stuff for an older hotel… they moved us to another room, which was better, but toilet was not cleaned well and the room smelled of chlorine(near indoor pool), one sink was stopping up.

Stayed one night here. 3 stars based on this: decent rooms, 2 tvs, beds comfortable, nice indoor pool, breakfast ok(waffles, donuts, eggs, sausage, biscuits) Negative: had to wait until 1am to get sheets for the pull out sofa bed after calling and requesting them several times and we still didn’t receive a pillow. Wifi non-existent, microwave didn’t work. Snack machines took our money. All in all I would not stay here again for the $ 140 we paid. Worth about $ 70/night.

Our suite was clean, comfortable and large. We had a gorgeous view of the Great Smoky Mountains from our bedroom balcony, and our free breakfast included chocolate waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, and fruit with cereal. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools as well as the jacuzzi. Perfect place to stay near all the fun places to see in the Smokies! We’ll be back! And next time we will bring our dog because this hotel is pet friendly too!

Hotel is a nightmare. Room had mold on bathroom ceiling, Bedsheets were not changed, manager says it’s not his problem as because of the area he cannot find good help. Indoor pool has funky smell and floor in room left black color on our feet. Stay at your own risk!

Beds were comfortable and clean… I looked in all the cracks of the bed for any signs of bed bugs and didn’t see any… getting a three star because around the floor and wall was very dirty and dusty… hotel staff was friendly and assured me they treat all rooms monthly for bed bugs.

We stayed here as part of a «stay to play» football tournament. Breakfast was actually pretty good. Pool was plenty big, though lighting could be improved for safety at night. Rooms are roomy. Now for the rest… In no way did we get a «this place is clean» vibe in any other part of the motel. Stained chairs and carpets. Strange comforters. Bathroom was gross. The motel is old and needs a deep cleaning of the rooms. Additionally, some of our boys were playing in the middle of the day, not bothering anyone who wasn’t with our group. The«manager» was out having one of her frequent smoke breaks wearing an oversized TN sweatshirt when she decided to yell at the boys to stop. #1 — you don’t address 10-year olds, you address the parents. We were watching, but she didn’t see us from her vantage point at first. So she thought she could just push her position to kids. #2 — she never presented herself as working for the hotel. She looked like she rolled out of bed for a trip to the grocery store, cigarette in hand, no name tag on her person. No professionalism at all. I had to ask if she worked for the hotel. «I am the manager.» To the owners of the hotel, surely you can do better. #3 — At the end of our«conversation», she said they were getting complaints, which was a convenient lie. She was outside smoking, thought to have some fun by yelling at some kids, and got caught being unprofessional. The kids were not loud. It was mid-afternoon on a sunny day. They were not running around up and down the halls. When a car came, they moved quickly. The boys were(inadvertently) hitting a car with an air-filled rubber ball. Thing is, it was our car. Which I told the lady. #4 — Then she was threatening«they’re going to get kicked out» to another employee(this employee was very pleasant, actually, and was wearing an appropriate employee name tag. She came back to talk to me later.) The«manager» handled this situation 100% wrong and truly needs a refresher course about how to talk to patrons. I would not recommend this motel ever. It was a disappointment.

We stayed here 1 night on the way down to Arkansas. For the most part, our experience here was alright. It was nice being on the bottom floor with our pet. The two-star reduction is for the cleanliness of the room. Although, it was far off from disgusting, there were a bunch of issues that would take very little time to fix. The fixture in the bathroom that holds the towels was filthy; a simple rub of the fingers removed dirt from the fixture. There was also a lot of dust around pictures frames and on shelves. A tad more effort in cleaning would make a lot of difference. The breakfast was very good. The pool/hot tub was very nice as well. We would probably stay here again.

Nothing negative to say here. Great stay; quiet, comfortable, and the breakfast was good for continental breakfasts. It is so close to so many family-friendly activities, so pair that in with the affordable rate per night and it is a plus in my opinion. :)

Let’s face it, this is an older hotel. It’s also not the Hilton. But the price is RIGHTON for what amounts to a really clean, very well-maintained hotel. Not only is the staff friendly, the rooms are HUGE(my whole family of 5 … plus two babies … fits comfortably in a room with 3 queen beds) and at a steal of a price. Add breakfast and an indoor(and outdoor) pool and hot tub to that and I don’t know what you would possibly have to complain about. Here’s the other thing that no one is saying but that we REALLY liked… it is not stuffed down in the maddening and overly-crowded guts of Pigeon Forge. It’s very close to all that is going on without being wedged inside of the mess. For our family, we LOVE being able to be tourists during the day and sneak away to a quiet relief at night. It is within 5 to 10 minutes of everything. Again, I cannot stress enough how WONDERFUL this place is. Oh yes… and did I mention… they even allow pets in certain rooms! Not a 5-star resort. But for the budget conscious family traveler, it is WAY more bang for your every buck. Nothing to fear here. It’s a safe bet.
