Peepers of Severna Park

They have excellent service. I arrived 10 min early for my test. The staff greet you as soon as you walk in and they took me back right away. They wiped everything with alcohol before asking you to put your face on it which made my germaphobe heart feel just a bit better.
The doctor (Dr Frankford) was nice, really friendly and sociable. Gabrielle was very helpful in finding great frames that fit my face. I was in and out quickly. Great experience, as always.

I think this is a great place. Everyone I’ve encountered has been very nice. Dr. Tilles was thorough, friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend to others.

Professional, got in quickly, very thorough and answered all my questions. I’m impressed with Peepers and the staff.

They were able to book a last minute appointment, provided great service and they understood my needs.

Asked today if I could get an eye exam next week and they were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday. Very informative with a great selection to choose from!
Dr. Mudd, Olivia and everyone else I met were incredible. Found out they will be relocating (not sure when) near Earleigh Heights off Ritchie Hwy.
If you want the best care for your eyes, Peepers is the way to go. You won’t be disappointed!

Everyone was so nice! The place is clean and has a really nice layout. The equipment is top notch (and I love that they don’t do the air puff test!!). I highly recommend them!!!

We have been going to Peepers for about 5 years now. They are efficient and it is easy to get an appointment when you want one. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The doctors take time to explain things if necessary. We started coming here because we changed insurance and our old ophthalmologist didn’t accept our new insurance, but we stayed because of the staff, the doctors, the convenience and the prices.

Great service and professional staff. This has been the only eye care location I’ve ever gone to. They are good about setting up routine examinations even when I’m in the area for a narrow window of time. I appreciate that. I can’t imagine getting my eye care services anywhere else.

I’ve been going to this place for 3 years now and every year I come back and I am never disappointed with the service or the Dr’s. Great Staff at the desk. I have seen every practicing ophthalmologist here and they are all WONDERFUL! Intelligent, patient, great «bedside» manner, everything you want from a Dr. I can’t say enough good stuff about this practice.

Visited the Severna Park Peepers store today to pick up my daughter’s prescription sunglasses. The technician put a $ 500 pair of prescription glasses in a polyester cloth bag, then placed it in a Peeper’s paper bag, and said «thank you». I have NEVER purchased a pair of prescription glasses without a glass case to go with them. ALWAYS give your customer a case for their glasses. If this is Peeper’s way of cutting costs, this is not the way to do it. Very disappointed customer.

A great store with a really nice and large selection of designer frames. The prices for frames is comparable to most places and they lenses were actually a bit cheaper than I usually have to pay.
But the customer service is what really stands out. There are always plenty of staff so someone to help you even when crowded. And they really go out of their way for you. When my sunglasses weren’t ready in time for a family vacation they lent me a pair of clip ons. When I had a problem with my lenses they offered to replace them at no cost to me.
This is definitely the place to get glasses!

Very friendly doctors, fairly easy to get appointments, helpful staff. All the good makings of medical office. I’ve been coming here for three years for routine stuff but I’ve had a few emergencies here and there and they have been helpful and friendly each and every time. I won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon.

I’m all about «shop local «and it’s really convenient to have quality eye care right here in Park Plaza. Dr. Johnson and staff are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and fantastic. I wouldn’t take my family anywhere else.

I joined Unilocal for the sole purpose of writing this review. The premises seems okay enough, but the staff is sarcastic, with a woman named Heather being obnoxiously patronizing, imagine my surprise when I found out she was a manager! My exam with Dr Mudd was exceedingly rushed, and he seemed more interested in getting me out of the office than anything. Perhaps he would be more comfortable behind a desk than working with people. After receiving my 750 $ quote for glasses, I decided to try somewhere else. I wish them the best of luck in future– they’re going to need it.

I picked up my glasses and they didn’t even need adjustment. The staff here is top-​notch. I won’t be going anywhere else for eye care or eye wear! First class professionalism with a focus on great service.

I love Peepers of Severna Park. They send me emails, texts, etc for reminders of my appointments. The manager greets be by my first name. Dr. Johnson is personsable and thorough.

I have been coming to Peepers of Severna Park for years. I am not sure how many, because I don’t really recall, but I’m going to say it’s in the ballpark of about 12 years now. I started when Peepers was in a different location to where they are now (near a Subway and Woodfire.)
I moved out of AA County. Though there is an eye doctor literally walking distance from my home, IN my neighborhood, I still drive 20+ miles one way to Severna Park for my eye care. Peepers of Severna Park really set the bar high, so when I did go to the eye doctor near me when I first moved here, I was not impressed with their service, treatment, nor their eye wear selection.
Appointments are easy to get at Peepers, the staff is always friendly. You can tell they are busy but they are never too busy to acknowledge you when you come in. My glasses and contacts always come in when promised, sometimes earlier. I never feel pressured into any kind of unwanted testing. I really like this place and as long as I’m within driving distance, I will always come here. (My kids and husband are patients, too!)
This is my second review of Peepers. For some reason, Unilocal deleted my highly positive and praising original review because they determined it was fake! (Or some silly message like that, I forget.)

Great place. Ended up getting two pairs of glasses there. Walked in the store and my 4 year old pair broke right there. They took me in right away for an appointment on the spot! Make sure Kurt cuts your frames. He takes fittings very seriously!

The entire staff that I encountered were super friendly. From the techs to the docs… very professional. I will be back.
The selection of glasses were not the best and that was disappointing but I would consider going back because of the professionalism of the staff… but they do need to step their frame game up.

Bottom Line: If you live or work in Anne Arundel County I highly recommend Peepers for all of your vision care needs.
I started going to Peepers when I was in high school and it was just Dr. Tilles in a small office. A few decades later, Peepers has multiple locations and the Severna Park location has four Doctors of Optometry. Although they have grown substantially in size, the awesome care and great customer service they offer has not waivered. Here are some of the reasons why I trust my blue eyes to Peepers:
— They greet you when you walk in
— Check in is easy and there is usually little or no wait. If you need to wait, they have comfy chairs with magazines and stuff for kids.
— The office is bright, spacious and clean.
— All of the staff is friendly and great about telling you what to expect during the exam, how best to use your insurance benefits, etc.
— The staff has great follow through with returning calls, completing forms, forwarding a message to a doctor, etc.
— They have tons of frames from which to choose and can order them in different colors.
— I’m not an expert on Optometry technology, but it seems like they really strive to have the latest machines and gadgets.
— They are awesome about assisting with forms for the MVA.
