Woodhaven Castle

Talk about one big happy campy fun! This is a vacation home in Sequim that took the fairy tale castle theme and ran with it. Each room had a theme such as the unicorn room and my absolute favorite is the swan princess room which is in a very, very tall tower of the house with very steep stair case. It made me want to grow my hair long and throw it out of the window! The owners put a lot of thought in all the decorations in the different rooms down to the Harry Potter glasses and the tiger printed pillow cases in the «wizard» room. By the way, the wizard room is one of the secret rooms in the house that you have to snoop and tap your way through the house to find.
And there were COSTUMES! Costumes all through out the house in sizes for everyone! This place is perfect for children or for those who are still a child at heart. All the adults that were in our group had a blast dressing up and having fun.
A warning to those with cat allergies: my allergies started flaring up when I arrived and it wasn’t until I discovered the cat door in the sewing room that I understood why I was having respiratory problems. I have to admit that despite the dripping nose, sneezing, and coughing, it did not deter my enthusiasm for this place.
