The BBQ sauce is a little strange, can never find a flavor I like BUT service is excellent and the meat is always on point!

Good food and welcoming staff. Had the pulled pork and my wife had the brisket. Both were wonderful and epitomizes BBQ! Sat outside and dinned on beautiful«artsy» tables. Oh, and home made chips were great. BBQ was good with or without the sauce they had.

OMG. Just moved here from Oregon. I am in love. The meaty beans, cornbread and jalapeño poppers are the best I’ve ever had! Yum

The girls working here were very nice, they offered us free dessert because they thought they gave us bad service. But since we didn’t think they gave bad service, I did not feel right taking the free dessert. It was a cute quaint little place, really enjoyed the experienced. The breakfast was really good. The pork in the pork sandwich was a little dry, but the bbq sauce was very tasty.

Pricey considering the portions. And the bbq sandwich comes on a whole wheat bun??? Really??? At least state that it does and give the option for just a regular bun, it was way overpowering for the pulled pork. Stay away from Clara’s sauce with the lemon, yuck! I wanted to try it because it sounded interesting, but now I know why I’ve never seen a lemon bbq sauce around– it doesn’t work! The brisket was good however, but $ 13 for a slice and a 1⁄3 slice? Baked beans were great.

Excellent food! Breakfast all day! Great sweet tea… champagne of the South! Sweet Southern service. Yummy breakfast… omelettes, biscuits, grits, pancakes. Can’t go wrong eating at this hometown place.

Cute little place to grab lunch if you’re in Senoia. They have traditional diner eats and are quite busy.

Not impressed with their ribs. A bit on the tough side. When you buy ribs in the south, you expect them go fall off the bone. Either they are cooking them too high and too quick or boiling them broiling which is s big no no for ribs…

Local owners and family run. The menu is mainly BBQ but the brunch is wonderful too. The homemade BBQ sauce is to die for!!! Love the selection of homemade desserts. Since everything is made from scratch don’t come in a hurry.

We came here on our way to Duluth and we’re SOHAPPY we did! The café is cute, clean and the staff is very friendly! The food, including the desserts, are all made from scratch! We ordered the cheese grits(fabulous!), buttermilk biscuit(yum!), the French toast(generous!), the fried green tomatoes(couldn’t get enough), and the brisket sandwhich(lean and tasty!). The food was so good, we came back and ordered the exact same thing the next day! We were too full to order the desserts, but will be back for sure to try those! Best place we’ve eaten in a long while!

Pulled pork plate with southern potato salad and spicy collard greens was interesting but not exceptional. Very friendly, a little slow but they were quite busy — Labor Day and they are normally closed Monday

Great friendly service and great food. Will come back to catch a walking dead cast member in this town and if not at least a good southern meal. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes.

Awesome place but a little pricey however once you sink your teeth into your food all that you know is how good it is! 15 min wait went by fast at lunch time! We will come back!

Stopped here on a family trip to Senoia/Peachtree City. We grabbed a late breakfast before starting back home. Firstly the place fulfills all the small town charm you would expect a diner to have. The actual pieces of quilted fabric on the walls was a unique touch. The service was super friendly, fast and professional. My wife and daughter said the sausage gravy was excellent. My son loved his French toast. and I had chicken and waffles for the first time and this place got me hooked. Words can’t express just how all around satisfying this restaurant was. We wanted to try the desserts but, like I said we were starting our trek home so they’ll have to wait for our next visit.

You know how good Sunday dinner was at your very Southern grandmother’s house? No? Well, that’s unfortunate, because those are very good dinners. Katie Lou’s manages to capture that flavor and comfort without having your hair pulled by your cousin. Thanks to the size of our party, I got to try a lot of the menu and found nothing lacking. My husband did say the coleslaw was too crunchy. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star review is the service, which was a bit scattered. Still worth a stop if you’re hungry after your Walking Dead tour.

Stopped in while in town doing an impromptu walking dead your. Got some lunch there. Had for starters the fried green tomatoes and for the entrée I split bbq plate that had macaroni and cheese, ribs and pulled pork. Pretty tasty but not the best bbq or tomatoes I have had but it was pretty tasty. Service was very nice and accommodating. Not too bad for a stop while in Senoia.

It’s Official! Senoia CAN be a beer destination, especially if you’re hunting zombies. Add Katie Lou’s to the list of comfortable places to drink a microbrew made either regionally, or elsewhere in America that isn’t swathed in red, white, and blue labeling. What a pleasure to walk in and find an obscure Wisconsin brew, which nicely complimented the corn muffin on my plate. Add exceptionally attentive service, a cute décor, and a patio WITH beer enjoyment privileges, and you’ve got the makings for one nice day in Senoia, Georgia. Zombies optional! If you’re a history fan, yes, this used to be the pubic library. ..

We journeyed south to take a look at Senoia since we are big Walking Dead fans. After walking through the town, we stopped here for some BBQ. This place has the best sweet tea that ever touched my tastebuds! The perfect sweetness to their tea! Well done you guys! I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with the sweet sauce. Their fries are crispy and skinny. Whole wheat bun, buttered and piled high with shredded pork. It was so big I ate about ¾ of my sandwich. My fiancé polished it off for me! We ordered the jalapeño poppers wrapped with bacon. OMGreasy goodness! Just a little kick of heat! They were delicious, something I never had before! The dipping sauce tasted like a horseradish. I hope we will get to come back, and try more!
