Went twice within the last couple weeks,(getting back into bowling). Both times the alley is open until Midnight and we bowl on Thursday(day off) so we purchased the two games and shoes for $ 8. The first week, our second game ended at about 11:20. We went up to buy another and said they were closing up since it was just us and another group playing, and if it isn’t busy, they close early. Okay, I can understand that. The second week, our second game ended around 11:10. We went up to buy another game, they refused. They said that it would take too long and we couldnt. We looked around and we saw about 5 other groups playing, we asked if we can do a speed run and we will leave when the others did. Refused once again. We left and went to Liberty Lanes. Cranked out four games in up until 1250. Never going back to Seminole Lanes.

Seminole lanes is an average bowling alley. Waffle fries tasted good, but the portion was small. The place seemed clean and well taken care of. There were lots of arcade games. Bartender was not the friendliest, but the other staff members were very nice.

We came here when we were in town for the weekend and wanted to bowl a game on a rainy night. The bartender was nice. There was a wait for about 45 minutes for a lane but we didn’t mind as We sat and had fun in the bar. The games and drinks weren’t expensive at all. It was definitely a locals joint.

Hello everyone I am here to give my thoughts about my experience on Seminole lanes. We decided to go on a date night so we ate and came here first so that we didn’t eat anything bad like nachos. We check in and the prices were like 11 dollars per game and if you waited till 9 it was 11 for unlimited games. I thought it was a bit pricy but my boyfriend didn’t mind paying for the game. We got our shoes and they were way overworn I was not pleased wit that but I noticed they all looked like that. They did have a vast amount of choice with the bowling bowl. I Chose an 8 but should have done a 6. My boyfriend chose a 10 and 11. Obviously he is a lot stronger . The set up was the usual bowling lane look but the tables had a lot of room to spread food and things out on. The lanes were kept clean and it glowed in the dark after 9 pm. After we were done we decided to check out the arcade which was small by had some recent games. We decided to play guitar hero and a hunting game. I felt it was pricy for the guitar hero because you didn’t have child of all songs and you had to pay extra for more songs. Overall it was a good experience and I had fun. I did a good job with the bowling ball -!: hitting the pin. Overall the facilities were clean and enjoyable.

The people are absolutely nasty!!! They seriously have issues trying to get two lanes next to each other even when there aren’t many people there. It’s an OK bowling alley, nothing special for sure. But the people definitely need to learn people skills. Employees were sarcastic with us telling us they are splitting us up separately, lane 1 and Lane 60. How is that right?

We’ve been coming here for years upon years and absolutely nothing has changed. This is a pretty solid bowling alley. The lanes are clean, there’s lots of seating, and the prices are reasonable. The workers are friendly enough, but some could use some people skills. It’s better if you go earlier in the day. In the late afternoon or evening, all of the balls are mixed up and its hard to find something that’s not a 14 or a 6. The café isn’t horrible, but not great either. The one time we had pizza here was only out of necessity and it was pretty mediocre. We usually do order a large fries for us to share. The most annoying thing about the café is that they charge 25¢ for ice water. I know it isn’t a lot, and I pay it, but isn’t water supposed to be free? Another improvement that needs to be made is the bathrooms. In the men’s bathroom, the urinal is directly parallel with the mirror, and there is no partition. No explanation needed. Even though I may sound cynical, this place isn’t bad, but there is nothing that makes it great either. This ain’t no Splitsville, but its cheap and fun.

Always very clean, and well attended. Plenty of parking space. The arcade has plenty of games including pool, a dance machine, Guitar Hero, and air hokey. The food is fresh and good portions. Always a great visit.

Something seriously wrong. I am a regular and tonight I saw two different people take really bad falls on the lanes. I know myself that something isn’t right. The Kane’s are super slippery while the approaches have no slide. You go to slide and your foot just stops dead. Something is not right with how they have the lanes and approaches finished. Separately, we had, and I noticed that others had a number of problems with pins resetting and balls being returned. Place looks very nice, but frankly these lanes are downright dangerous!

Not too crowded on a Saturday night and NO smoking. Why friends and I had a good time. There was something that we found a bit odd. The largest ball size is 14 lbs. I have never seen that anywhere else in my entire life.

One of the best bowling places I have visited. Maybe the best in Saint Petersburg area! My kids(5 and 7) are simply in love with this place. Great place to be with family and friends, great place for any kinds of «lets have a bowling party» crazy ideas — for kid’s birthday party, and for adult late night bowling, for romantic evening with girlfriend and even with your own wife :)… People are very friendly, with good soul and right spirit. Girls and guys who work at this place always make you smile them in return for their goos service, jokes. The place priced right, not cheap and not super expensive. Food is good, nice bar, plenty of arcade games for kids as well. This place may be crowded from time to time, but they always have available lines, 60 lines in total so it is a one real bowling place. The real fun to play with black light at late evenings… For my family and for our friends this place is the only one to go… !!!

This place is a typical bowling alley, with plenty of space and pool tables. There are about 75 lanes, which is nice if you come during league play like I did. During our three games, our monitor kept shutting off and flickering to setup screens. Eventually, they moved us one lane down(but were able to transfer our games!) to a properly functioning lane. It was really not a big deal, but when we went to pay at the end, they gave us the junior rate because of all the trouble. That was really nice. The employees seemed in good spirits and were very helpful. I think that’s what sets this apart from other bowling alleys; the staff are just great. Thanks for a great indoor respite from the unseasonably chilly Tampa weather!

Seminole Lanes is your typical bowling alley. There is nothing spectacular about this one in particular, but it is clean and fairly up to date. The prices are pretty comparable to most other bowling alleys I’ve been to. The shoes are a bit worn out but I suppose that’s to be expected of most bowling alleys. Overall I was satisfied with the place and the day I went it was packed so it seems pretty popular with the locals.
