This is another great rest area. In my book, North Carolina ranks high when it comes to rest areas. The place is well kept up. The rest area is actually managed by a group for maintenance. All comments a, d concerns go to them instead of having to go to the state separately. When you come in on the side for cars, the refreshments building is the left building. The building on the right contains the restrooms. There’s also a bunch of picnic tables to be able to, sit down, relax, or eat if you’re so inclined to do so. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Workers were present keeping the rest area up to par. Overall, this is another great place to stop and rest. I like to just get out and stretch too. If you’re traveling through here, it would be a good spot to take a quick break.

One of the nicest rest areas I’ve been to. Manicured lawns and very well maintained bathrooms. There is a grill station that even had a person set up grilling his lunch. There was a maintenance person scrubbing beneath the benches outside of the air conditioned restrooms. If I had my choice I will certainly stop back at this rest area!
